Today on show I spoke of the fires in the Amazon Rain Forest in Brazil that must be addressed, worst ever, etc. One of our listener sent me the following material from the New York Times and another site using NASA data on the fires. It is happening but not the end of the world as we know it. It appears that there is little difference from this year to years past as far as fires go. Is the forest disappearing due to other reasons--yes.
