onion_grower: i'd like to hear from an addiction medicine physician and a criminologist on this show.

onion_grower: The marijuana producing counties have the highest rates of fatal overdose. Humboldt number 2, Shasta number 5.

Angel: LOL, or a hippy from the 50's

Angel: 60's I mean

Angel: I grew up in the the Bay Area and we used to go to the Haight

Angel: Interesting to see the start of the Hippy culture there and the end of it

Angel: All came down to drugs, the rise and fall

onion_grower: Most of the hippies I knew in the 60s had distinctly slowed speech. Angel speaks normally. I think it was a fad to speak like you were stoned back then.

Angel: My dad and the nuns would never have allowed it. My dad put us in Catholic school after my 14 year old friend OD'd on heroin

Angel: My dad was worried about the influence, but I tried to get her away from the crowd leading her down the path of drugs, oddly enough I knew it was a path of devistation

Angel: I have to give Bob credit, taxes and numbers are so boring

Angel: In my opinion anyway, I don't have one of those number brains

onion_grower: A little rebellion is normal in a teenager. Too much gets them killed.

Angel: What does you guest think of a flat tax?

Angel: True Onion, has to be a balance

Angel: I don't mind taxes, I mind fee's and fee's disguised as taxes

Angel: I mind the fraud, I heard yesterday billions of refunds paid to dead people, one born in the 1800's

Angel: You would think there would be a review to see if people in the early 1900's are even still alive, the IRS has easy access to the records

Joe: the gov cross references payments against the Social Security Death Index every year. It is stupid that IRS is not doing the same.

Angel: It seems so easy, why not a new system, if your refund is questionable, don't give it to them until they prove who they are

Angel: We have some how lost common sense, give people refunds who never filed

Angel: makes sense!
