jimmy: Good morning Angel and Chat pack
Sungold: Good Morning all
jimmy: Good to ba back in the North State during the week
jimmy: *be
Sungold: Nice to see you Jimmy, taking a little vacation?
Angel: Good morning Sun
jimmy: Hi SG. Yes have a break in the action ,so to speak.
Angel: Does it surprise you about Hillary Clinton? I think this the news will do her in, especially with the young folks
jimmy: Been in Greenfiled ( Salinas ) and Parlier (Fresno) in the last couple months. 70% of the stores in those towns are in spainish. I bought a lotto quikpick in Parlier. The lotto screen was in Spainish only. Espainol solomente
Sungold: If is is true, I doubt it will bother her much, she is a deceiver, and it just rolls off her back
jimmy: could'nt believe it
Angel: I hope you win Jimmy, it has to be good luck!
Sungold: We are quickly becoming the minority Jimmy, Mexico wants CA
Angel: I think she just can't be authentic
jimmy: fingers crossed. ;)
SYSTEM: Please welcome onion_grower who just joined the chat.
onion_grower: California is changing fast. Hispanics outnumber whites according to the U.S. census.
jimmy: I had to get a translator to go over the job with the framing forman.
onion_grower: Shasta county is one of the 12 California counties where there are more death certificates than birth certificates. As the white population dies off, who will take their place?
jimmy: slowly but shurley onion
SYSTEM: Please welcome Angel who just joined the chat.
onion_grower: White drug users from the bay area are moving to the North Sacramento valley. They are moving North as the hispanic majority in the Bay area and South makes it hard for them.
Sungold: I have to say that two of the best housekeepers I have had over the past 45 years have been from Mexico, both were educated then, and one, now 50 is going for her teachers credential at Shasta College. Both have educated children who live and work here in Redding
Sungold: Two of the kids are high school teachers, one a counselor and both are coaches
Sungold: The one going to college is also a licensed massage therapist who works out of her home. Both ladies have remained good friends to us.
Angel: It is hard to find good house keepers, even better they are friends
jimmy: I hope I dont come off as sounding racist. I just am overwhelmed by the fact that these towns are changing in a way it doesnt look like the California I know.
jimmy: Illegal's are what I have a problem with.
SYSTEM: Please welcome ProducerBadBob who just joined the chat.
Angel: They did a poll on the 50 things that make us feel great, clean sheets, yep I am pretty manic about it!
Angel: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3039178/The-real-secret-happiness-clean-sheets-Two-thirds-respondents-say-fresh-bed-one-favourite-feelings-list-50-things-feel-great.html
jimmy: Good show today. A topic that needs to be talked about.

jimmy: so that is where "Sock hop" came from
SYSTEM: Guest just signed off.
Sungold: I even change the pad cover on my dogs bed twice a week, she like it clean too!
SYSTEM: Please welcome Craig who just joined the chat.
Craig: It seems to take about 45-60 seconds for the stream to buffer up.
Sungold: Did you all go to sock hops as a kids? I loved them!
Sungold: Not here Craig, do you have a slow boot up?
jimmy: There is a donation site for Dern
Craig: Nope.
Sungold: Comes right up for me
jimmy: I was brought up in the dreaded disco days
ProducerBadBob: The lag here is roughly 8 seconds...less than one second difference to the radio signal. But it all depends on what happens to the data on the way to you.
Angel: Have a great day, time to run!
Sungold: Bye Angel
jimmy: See'ya Angel. Have a good one:)
ProducerBadBob: Your ISP might send those packets clear across the country. It's never a direct route for IP
SYSTEM: Please welcome CoachBob who just joined the chat.
jimmy: Good morning Coach
CoachBob: Hey Jimmy, Sunny, AngelWings....Carl/Linda
CoachBob: Combo plays the VA Home this afternoon. Much fun. It' birthday Wednesday and we play "name that tune" with little bells on every table for the audience.
SYSTEM: Please welcome Jarhead who just joined the chat.
jimmy: Good morning Jarhead
jimmy: Is this anti State of Jefferson group from around here?
Sungold: What a fun gig Coach...I bet the residences love it
Craig: Interesting that a group invested time in opposing SOJ. If they didnt believe that SOJ was viable or could possibly happen, they wouldnt need a PAC, would they?
jimmy: good point Craig
onion_grower: An initiative to allow unlimited pot growing would be great for Shasta County. It would bring Republicans to the polls to defeat it. Pot growers are a loud minority. The newspaper supports them, even though it costs them subscribers.
Sungold: Does anyone besides me dislike the sound of Redding, Jefferson? I much prefer Redding, North California
jimmy: it is funnt how these people say SOJ would go broke. Uhmmm has'nr California gone broke many times?
Craig: I think that worry should be reserved until we have to cross that bridge...
jimmy: Redding N Ca does roll off the tongue smoother
onion_grower: I agree with Silas Lyons on one point. There is no path to State of Jefferson. It would be the whitest state in the union. U.S. congress would never vote for that.
Craig: Its like a school girl writing down her 'married' name using the surname of the boy she has a crush on...
jimmy: yup the first day
Sungold: Not a worry at all, it came up in a group conversation and I found out no one like the sound of Redding, Jefferson
onion_grower: The discussion about the state of Jefferson is valuable, because it encourages above average young people to move to another state.
jimmy: to talk to the head framer I needed a translator
jimmy: Carl this one is a prevailing wage job
onion_grower: Construction in Shasta county makes no sense. There are more death certificates than birth certificates. It is likely that the population is shrinking, as well as getting older and poorer.
Sungold: The Chinese are taking over Vancouver Canada. It has changed so much
onion_grower: There is massive capital flight from China. Those who can afford it are moving to BC, NYC, LA, etc.
Sungold: Sales of detached homes, town houses and condominiums in metropolitan Vancouver jumped 70 percent in February from January, to 3,097 units from 1,819, and were up 25 percent from a year earlier. This was in 1911
Sungold: All buyers were Chinese, real estate brokers were working day and night to keep up
Craig: I have to run,... but someone might ask Bosenko how he feels about SB707 and whether he would enforce gun free schools against carry licensees.
jimmy: I wonder how much this made the housing prices jump up?
Craig: bye all
jimmy: See'ya Craig
Sungold: A lot, one seller had sent over 100,000 to remodel, the Chinese buyer paid over one million for the home and tore it down to rebuild
jimmy: WOW
Sungold: They seem to be taking over the west side of Vancouver
Sungold: I understand all the signage in one of the big malls are all in Mandarin
jimmy: Cultural influence can be good. But, when it takes over is worrysome.
SYSTEM: Please welcome ProducerBadBob who just joined the chat.

jimmy: Does KCNR use Simian?
ProducerBadBob: uh...not even sure what that is
ProducerBadBob: media management...
ProducerBadBob: no...I use what's between my ears...
jimmy: Yes ,i think that is what it is.
ProducerBadBob: I use sticky notes, playlists from various sources, DJ experience and draw from several souces for the library.
jimmy: I may be wrong but it is an automatic system that downloads programs.
jimmy: Sticky notes and DJ expieience is the way it should be. :)
ProducerBadBob: It's an automation system apparently. Our automation for show control and commercials is a legacy DOS-based system called "The Phantom", the source code was written in the 90's and it still goes strong day after day.
jimmy: Very nice.
ProducerBadBob: It's a command-line based program that is very compact, boots in seconds and while it's a bit cumbersome at times, just. works.
jimmy: That is what I was trying to sputter out in lamens terms.;)
jimmy: LOL
jimmy: Got to runs folks. Will listen in the car and see'yall tomorrow
