KCNR should set a higher standard than the R-S. No claiming that marijuana is effective against cancer. No claiming that the cervical cancer vaccine is unsafe or ineffective. No claims that vaccines cause autism. This is not the Oprah Show.

I am old and have no opinion one way or the other just thought it might be a good preventative for those who are going to be sexually active

To change the subject: The R-S ran an editorial today about the physician shortage. As Shasta county gets older, sicker and poorer, it needs more docs. We aren't replacing the ones retiring now. We are on track to becoming a medically underserserved area.

Dr. Dhanuka has been to many tumor conferences where they discuss cases. Cervical cancer is a terrible death, and especially kills younger women. Cervical cancer tends to stay in the pelvis, invading bladder, rectum, female organs, etc. Cancers like lung, breast, colon kill by distant metastasis

It should be mandatory because when you have sex with someone, it is the same biologically as having sex with everyone else they had sex with. The rising incidence of genital herpes in young people means there will be an increase in cervical cancer unless the vaccine is widely adopted.
