Angel: I didn't know this, When we have a wildfire, Cal Fire uses the water in the district to fight the fire, the rate payers for that district are out the water

Angel: Good morning Joe
Carl: Smokejumpers and hot shot guys on Thuirsday
Angel: Wow sounds interesting Carl, i am going to have Cal Fire on Sat, I hope
ProducerBadBob: Well...let's see...save the house...save the water...if you lose the house you won't be needing the water. Just saying.
Angel: LOL, true but for our water district once the water is gone, that's it we are out of water. They did put in the intertie system to Redding in Feb so maybe tha'ts not the case
Angel: 100ft defensible space
Angel: They told us that too BBob, if you don't clear
Angel: Our district said, when it is gone it is gone
Sungold: That is scary....neighbors will have to have water trucked in. Get water storage containers to catch any rainfall during the next rainy season
Joe: just wait, people who do significant rainfall storage will be notified by the state that they have no right to that water
Angel: Well here is the deal, when i was a kid my mom would throw us in a room with kids who had measles so we would get it or not and get it over with
Angel: I can see that happening Joe, lol
Sungold: People have been saving rainwater for years. It is nothing new. We collect rainwater that comes off our roof and into our gutters. As far as I am concerned it is mine legally. Pools collect rainwater, what do they do about that? We drain our pool now into a tank to save.
Sungold: It is amazing the amount of water that comes from one small downspout. One can fill a 275 gallon tank in 2.5 hours from a small gutter coming off the roof in a downpour
Sungold: Imagine if you collected the water from all the downpouts? You would have enough water to take care of a good portion of your needs for a long time during the dry season.
Angel: Time to get walking, have a great day!
Sungold: My grandparents used to collect rainwater in barrels....people have done it for as long as I can recall, the smart ones anyway
Sungold: Bye Angel
