Sungold: Good Morning
SYSTEM: Please welcome Jarhead who just joined the chat.
Sungold: Why was the train allowed to reach that speed in the first place?
Sungold: Isn't that the bottom line?
Carl: No governor nor any other way to slow it down except for engineer it appears..
Jarhead: maybe they would be willing to buy our bullet train...then we could focus on our water issues...lol
Jarhead: What a coincidence...loyalty payments...I just sent my friends and family an invoice for my years of loyalty...I think I may have to send them to collections...I'm just not confident they are not going to pay up like Baugh thinks is right
Sungold: It seems almost impossible what the people let the people in charge of our county and city get away with, They make outrageous salaries, get questionable bonuses and the people let it happen
Sungold: The right thing to do, does not exist anymore!
Jarhead: I agree Sun, and its amazing how comfortable these people are spending our money
Jarhead: the people that it will hurt is the households that use less power
Jarhead: sounds like a lawsuit coming..
Sungold: We remodeled our house over the years to bring it all up to date, and got energy star extra refer and freezer. Had the A/c, heat unit brought down to below 5 % loss, added extra insulation, and never did see a decrease in our bill.

Jarhead: they probably already voted on it
Jarhead: they have already spent the money ...lol
Sungold: It seems the more we try to conserve, the higher the bill goes. We wore a lot of extra layers this winter and it was not a very cold winter
Sungold: I don't know how folks on fixed incomes, like seniors keep up with it all.
Sungold: My computer needs to install updates, may as well get it over with.
Craig: sounds like Kayla Brown

Craig: and talking about taxing based on milatge
Craig: or mileage... oops
Sungold: What I really really hate are the low flow toilets...whose bright idea was that. Now they are telling us not to FLUSH each time. Have you ever tried this with a low flush toilet? It is not pretty!
Craig: the other problem is that using low flow make processing sewage more difficult...
Craig: you need a certain amount of water to make sewage treatment work...
Craig: Speaking of sewage...
Sungold: Oh and then there are the low water washing machines....I have to add water to get of decent wash!
Sungold: My grandmother got a better wash in her wash tub doing it by hand!
Craig: Well you cant take your clothes down to the river to beat them over a rock without the EPA regulating you.
SYSTEM: Craig just signed off.
Sungold: I think not. I can only imagine if I went down to the river with a load of clothes, I'd have a City official on my back in no time.

Sungold: Some machines do better than others with low flow water....I got one that does not.
Sungold: Our neighbor just got a new washer and it uses a different method of washing than mine does, and she loves it. It is much newer of course. I think our was one of the first ones using the low flow.
