Lake Shasta is 52% of capacity. One year ago it was 46%. At the dam, the water is 350 ft. deep, a high pressure pump into the ground water. A lot of pot growers have left. Ask Ruth. Our water situation is much better than last year.

Many "for sale" signs on the corners in pot growing country. Bet the county is raking in property transfer taxes.

The Board of Supervisors does what county staff and Larry Lees advise. The situation is even worse in Redding, where city council just rubber stamps city staff and Kurt Starman. Everything is decided by staff behind closed doors. City council and BOS meetings are where decisions are promulgated.
