Joe:
greetings all
Ted5150:
I am here to answer any 2nd Amedment questioons this morning--call in or chat me!
OG:
Visibility got as low as 3 miles yesterday. When that happens, Calfire will not operate fixed wing or helicopter fire fighters. Mercy and SRMC medical helicopters will not operate.
OG:
The medical helicopters have their own criteria to fly. In 2008, they declined, so a USCG helicopter from Arcata came to evacuate a fire fighter. For the next week, a National Guard helo was based at Redding Muni.
OG:
Military helicopter crews are trained to operate in severe instrument conditions. The medical helicopter crews may be ex-military, but their training is not current.

Good Morning
Sungold:
Nothing wrong with Chapter 11, it gives companies time to restructure and reorganize. A good thing but many companies take advantage of it.
Ted5150:
Agreed--it is a business decision
Sungold:
I con't care for Christie's combativeness either. He is off my watch list.
Sungold:
don't
SYSTEM:
Please welcome sharon who just joined the chat.
sharon:
Trump is not talking about anything the Pauls, and Rand Paul... has talked about for years!
sharon:
Paul just does it with dignity, so no one seems to care about it.. Maybe he needs to dress like a clown to get recognition
Ted5150:
I like Rand Paul
Sungold:
I lked this comment from Rubio. " “God has blessed us. He’s blessed the Republican Party with some very good candidates. The Democrats can’t even find one.”
SYSTEM:
Ted5150 just signed off.
sharon:
that was funny, sun
sharon:
I also liked the comment.. you can build a fence, but what about the tunnels... it was something like that
Sungold:
I read a great article about Hillary. The writer said she is old, not only biologically, but in spirit. I knew she was worn out after her last campaign
Sungold:
Article went on to say the democrats have no one running except "Baby Jane"
Sungold:
Ah, no one minces words anymore do they?
SYSTEM:
Please welcome Ted5150 who just joined the chat.
Joe:
did you see the online video of Cruze cooking bacon on the barrel of an AR at an indoor range?
sharon:
Her spirit is deceptive. how much more do we need?
sharon:
You know where RAnd Paul is at
sharon:
He has never minced words. He wants to talk about the issues
Sungold:
Hillary lost all credibility when she stood by Bill in his Monicagate episodes
Sungold:
Time for me to get going...have a nice weekend all
sharon:
With the gov't clamping down, we may have something to cover.. who knows what they will want to hold against us
sharon:
The Pauls have said that for years!
sharon:
Why do we keep ignoring Rand and Ron?
sharon:
If they has asked Paul... which of course they did not. He could have answered how to shrink the govt.
sharon:
But no, the media keeps ignoring Rand Paul
sharon:
People are afraid he will implement his ideas.
sharon:
Carl.. he does not want to stay out of war just because. only if we can.
sharon:
He will fight, but he will allow the men to fight.
sharon:
People are afraid Paul will take money out of their pockets and quit the freebies... that's why people don't like him
sharon:
But.... with or without Rand, harder times are coming. Rand wants to let it happen with control.
sharon:
Without strong leadership, the spiral down will be hell.
Joe:
Carl is wrong. The problem is that they are all politicians, and few if any conservatives willing to stand up for conservative values.
Joe:
They get elected then join the club and quit standing for what they campaigned for
Joe:
Pres Bush (both) spent like drunken liberal sailors (no offense to sailors)
sharon:
not to be redundant. but, it is the heart of man that needs the attention. We no longer respect ourselves or our bodies.. how can we expect respect from others if we don't respect ourselves.
sharon:
Thus... killing and violence from years of video training, is spilling into our streets and homes.
sharon:
Gosh, I'd love to see some peace in the world.
SYSTEM:

I want to know how you can rationalize sending someone to prison for 20 years for being a felon in possession and in the same breath claim they believe in the second amendment.
sharon:
Just saying, the violence our kids, now grownups, which we grow up with, is desensitizing us to violence.
Craig:
The ACLU recently had a victory in restoring the voting rights of convicted criminals... if their right to vote can be restored... why shouldnt their gun rights?
Joe:
Disagree Sharon. I am a gamer, and a gun owner, and have never committed voilence against another human.
sharon:
The instant gratification factors are growing more intense, making other crave for more... real blood, real damage...it could be, it does matter what we grow up with.
Joe:
video games and movies are not the problem. The breakdown of the family, the elimination of all discipline, punishment, and reward from schools and sports
sharon:
I understand JOe, my son, as well. But,I think it is definitely a contributing factor.
Joe:
if these kids grew up respecting each other and police/teachers/elders, then they would be different people today
sharon:
I agree Joe. We are on the same page.
sharon:
Yep.
Joe:
when they tell the teacher 'you cant touch me, you cant do anything', then the insane are running the asylum and you get these results
sharon:
Respect is a bit deal. In the movies and games , we don't show much respect. Crap, in life, we don't show much respect anymore.
sharon:
'Dissing' your friends is just something we do now. It's a habit.
Joe:
if these thugs were bent over sombodys knee at the age of 4 every time they acted up then they become different people

Not all felonies are violent-- so are you going to 'suspend' someones right to bear arms forever because they did some white collar crime or cheated on their taxes?

"Butters"
:
im out.
Tatonka:
It is going to reflex Google Karen Finley and start there
Ted5150:
Craig--sorry about that, call in a after LaMalfa and let's talk about it. I didn't mean to take it out of context.
Ted5150:
Violent felonies only--not al felonies.
Ted5150:
We could assemble a list of crimes that qualify for the "+20" rule--not every felony!
Tatonka:
Funny how reflex donated to Lamalfa, Jim neilsen campain and majically no opposition
Ted5150:
Not suspend forever. I think tha tonce they pay their debt to society they shuld get a clean slate

And the answer is no, it doesn't take 2/3rds in the Senate and no they can't amend it
Red:
Because of the TPA
Tatonka:
for someone who says they oppose Obummer he sure does help him on key issues
Red:
Just trying to help his legacy remember?
RallySally:
Internet hype?
Tatonka:
so if he didn't get it all at once so that means its ok

If he was Representating his constituents, instead of the Republican Party, he would have a lot more "freinds".
Tatonka:
that is total BS
Red:
No Carl, that's the TPP
Tatonka:
read the bill he is full of it read the Consitution
Tatonka:
so why would you help him at all
Red:
The President CAN'T do it by Executive order
RallySally:
The TPA changes the Constitution. He took an oath to Protect and Defend the CONSTITUTION.
Red:
The Constitution gives the Senate power to approve and amend
Red:
You voted to change that
Tatonka:
now they can pass it with 51 % instead of 2/3
Red:
Yep

Please welcome Karen who just joined the chat.

Tatonka:
remember how many Rebulican jumped to help to pass Obamacare
Red:
No, Congress has a problem standing on the Constitution to stop the President
Tatonka:
now all they need is a couple Dems
Karen:
Why is the local tea party against Doug LaMalfa? Do they want a democrat instead?
Tatonka:
Lamalfa is a weasel
RallySally:
We want him to Represent us.
Red:
A Treaty is defined as "an agreement between nations"
Tatonka:
you are obviously a low info person do some home work
RallySally:
On the important votes, he votes against what his constituents want.
Karen:
The local tea party is making itself irrelevant. They are coming across as angry extremists.
Red:
What bs
Karen:
How about you crucify LaMalfa and get ol' Heidi Hall in there and see how happy you are.
Tatonka:
how about we get some one who is a real conservative
Karen:
The Monday morning quarterbacks in Redding, California are in way over their heads.
Karen:
What "real conservative" are you going to run against him then?
Tatonka:
I might
RallySally:
So, Karen, we should just settle for what we have? Even though we don't agree?
Tatonka:
or I will hold his feet to the fire when he sales us out'
Tatonka:
or both
Tatonka:
as long as he has an R by his name give him a pass right
RallySally:
Let's see how he votes on the upcoming debt ceiling---again!

Red:
Is the backlog fixed?
RallySally:
Only 2 people have been fired-in the whole country!
Red:

Red:
Support the vets? We support the vets, we're the ones engaged and fundraising and fighting for them
Tatonka:
that is true they did reduce they IRS budjet anything else
Tatonka:
HAS ANYONE BEEN FIRED
Tatonka:
HAS ANYONE BEEN IMPEACHED
Red:
But we're extreme because we want Doug to actually gix it for the vets?
Karen:
And you hold one man responsible for all this? So Tatonka, when you go to DC I'm going to expect you to do all these things single handedly. And you better not miss one point, or we'll come after you like stink on a pig. That makes as much sense as what you're doing now.

not one man but he is part of the problem look at his voting record on key issues and the money that has swayed his vote
Red:
It's not about the win Karen, it's about the try. We want him to stand for right and try
Karen:
Second thought, the local tea party isn't that influential anyway.
Karen:
What makes you think any amount of money has swayed him?
