Question for Chief: Why are the street people here and not in Marysville, Oroville, Chico, Stockton, etc.?

Street people means alcoholics, drug users, petty criminals, parolees who can't find job, mentally ill.

The street people are very vulnerable to gangs. That kind of crime is not reported. No addict will report that someone stole his fraudulent EBT card or his drugs.

Ten years ago, there were fewer street people here. I saw a lot in Marysville and Oroville. Oroville is Butte county seat, so convenient to get welfare benefits.
