sflow: they have a great cheese factory up there fresh homemade

Scott: I've seen the signs but never been there

Sungold: I grew up in Eureka and so did my husband. We love all those small towns. They are wonderful, and family members who have moved away have second homes, mainly in Ferndale to get back to peace and quiet and real life as it once was.

Scott: Is it worth the tour

Scott: It's like stepping back in time for sure.

Sungold: There are amazing eating places all over that area, unlike Redding with all the fast food joints

Sungold: Lots of beautiful farmland too, Real dairies still exist.

Scott: My wife went to Humboldt St. We make the trip to the coast often and never get bored

producerbadbob: Was just over on the Lost Coast about a month ago. It was amazing that we were still in California. It was remote, desolate and beautiful. This ranch had no grid power, no cell service. Was a time travel for sure.

Sungold: I love that area, we always park our RV at the Elk;s in Eureka, they have a lovely area for parking, very private. I love getting up early in the morning and feeling the fog on my skin.
