ProducerBadBob: hi there sunny!
Sungold: Your advertiser, 5 Star Bank is having a special showing of Animation tonight for their customers, and supporters. Serving food, etc. Should be fun!
Carl: I'll be there
Sungold: We'll see you.
Sungold: Missed the debate, totally forgot about it, was so mad about that.
Jarhead: I have gone almost every year...Carl, I don't remember seeing you there dressed up in a costume..I would have a picture of that had it occurred...
Jarhead: settle down missy....relax...lol
Sungold: missy?
Jarhead: she was getting a little loud...has a lot to say, I understand...but I had to turn my sound down...lol
Jarhead: NOT A POLITICIAN !
SYSTEM: Please welcome Angel who just joined the chat.
Angel: Good morning
Carl: Hi Angel
Angel: Good morning Carl
Angel: Thst is funny, Red Bluff
Angel: Holy Cow, mosr violent, I was in Fresno yesterday, wouldn't have blinked without my firearm
Jarhead: Mike johnson rocks !!!
Angel: A law suit waiting to happen in Anderson !!
Angel: or I should say ACLU suit
Angel: Most people hit themselves in the head when they use them, I am guessing a lot of injured on duty incidents as well
ProducerBadBob: you have to practice your kata every day with the foam ones first
Angel: So arm your officers with bean bags, stun guns, now nunchucks, slowly replacing the fireatm, which is pretty darn affective
Angel: LOL, Bob, you know they have to be paid for training
Jarhead: they are not going to give up what they have taken over with others money and promises
Jarhead: Carson / Fiorina or Trump / Carson
Sungold: I beginning to like Trump more and more, surprises me
Sungold: Hi Angel, nice to see you.
Angel: Hi Sun, I know, I have been so used to getting out early
Angel: I am voting for anyone in the seat but I was impressed with Rubio last night
Sungold: Oh, I thought maybe you were on a cruise
Angel: Jeb Bush is ut, he is so desperate
Sungold: I like Rubio too. At least we have some choices this time around.
Angel: My favorite, Fiorina
Angel: Bush needs to pull out
Angel: Well got to find a sweatshirt, time to get on the trails, listening, have a great day!!
Angel: My puppies are giving me the evil eye!!
Sungold: I know that evil eye, have fun
Jarhead: lets adopt a block
Jarhead: isn't that what the DRBA did...and they got rid of them...
Sungold: We've adopted many blocks! Take a walk with a load of plastic bags everyday and pick up stuff in our neighborhoods
Jarhead: Trish, wow...like having the city get out of the way of opening businesses... like Oasis
SYSTEM: Please welcome CindyG who just joined the chat.
Jarhead: Sun, the DRBA already did that for the city...and paid their own money
CindyG: Public safety in Redding will go away when Costco leaves, taking all that revenue with them.
Jarhead: good point Cindy...that will be a big hit...and why is the city creating headwinds for that project
CindyG: Chief Paolette will be laying off officers when he should be hiring more. But, loss of Costco's revenue will blow a gigantic hole in Redding's budget.
Sungold: We have a small area near our house that crosses over a drainage ditch. Found beer cans and clothes discarded on the block fencing yesterday. We are wondering if someone is living under the culvert
Jarhead: and with the potential loss of REU revenues depending on the lawsuit
CindyG: Is the Matrix Co study saying anything about loss of revenue to City of Redding??????
Sungold: Where is Costco going?
CindyG: Is anyone paying attention to loss of Costco??????
Sungold: I am, but no one seems to know anything!
Jarhead: I asked the city if I or any of the groups I am associated with could lease certain city properties for a dollar a year...with no rights and city could cancel at any time
Sungold: At lease I cannot get any answers!
CindyG: Costco has been trying to build inside Redding city limits at Oasis for over 10 years. City has not made it happen. Can't blame Costco for looking at Anderson.
CindyG: Anderson is welcoming businesses with open arms. Not Redding.
Jarhead: just so I could call the chief or Sheriff and have squatters removed immediately instead of having to post and wait 7 days.... they suggested adopting instead
Sungold: Yes, I know those facts, still cannot find out anything about where they are going for certain and what they are up to
Jarhead: Cindy...just had this conversation yesterday with a couple of local business owners....they will move if Costco does
CindyG: Years ago Rdg city council named Oasis their #1 project. What happened?? They cowered to Starman, Warren et al and have crushed the Oasis project under expensive building conditions.
Jarhead: it may conflict with future plans of Mcconnell and what they want to do with the riverfront
SYSTEM: Please welcome RallySally who just joined the chat.
SYSTEM: Please welcome CindyG who just joined the chat.
CindyG: lost audio.......please bring Starman on the radio. He needs to man up about the truth!!
Jarhead: can't be talked about yet....its more than that Trish...future plans of 'others' interests
ProducerBadBob: Cindy try a reboot, I am checking the stream
SYSTEM: Please welcome Sungold who just joined the chat.
Jarhead: city should have applied for the grant for expansion of freeway overpass months ago
SYSTEM: Please welcome Sungold who just joined the chat.
CindyG: City of Rdg pays Army Corps of Engineers annually so they can get project through OR STOP PROJECTS whichever the city wants.
Jarhead: its starman
CindyG: Starman is paid mega bucks and he is ruining this city.
Sungold: Not a fan of Starman, worked under him for a few years. Not impressed
Jarhead: where do you think starman will be hanging out in retirement...after we pay him 150k in retirement...mcconnell will make up the rest
ProducerBadBob: did everyone lose streaming audio?
Jarhead: no
ProducerBadBob: ok thanks
CindyG: Oasis should be the top priority for city. Behind the curtain city officials have destroyed Oasis Rd.
Sungold: I rebooted, back up now
CindyG: Costco wants a Redding address rather than Anderson address. This is a personal fight against the developer.
CindyG: Warren declared war against the Oasis developer years ago. He still controls city politics!
Jarhead: costco does not need redding....and they will not be leveraged for additional money to do things like moving the gas lines etc.. they are already thinking about options...
Jarhead: people will drive to anderson for costco
Jarhead: walt mcneil represents the developer
Sungold: You bet they will
Jarhead: walmart super store...1st one was in Anderson
Jarhead: I hear CNN is doing a story on APD
Jarhead: today
CindyG: Cool, jarhead. Glad to hear that. I love Anderson and would be happy to see Costco land there. But what a shame for all the citizens of Rdg who need more police officers on the street.
CindyG: One condition of building at Oasis Rd is a ton of mitigation money would have to be paid to Glenn Hawes' mitigation bank. Think THAT smells like an inside deal?
CindyG: I speak the truth. Have been involved for years.
CindyG: If Record Searchlight would do an investigative report, this could all be verified.
ProducerBadBob: There are no investigative reporters any more...no money in muckraking in the Internet Age.
SYSTEM: Please welcome cherrillclifford who just joined the chat.
ProducerBadBob: The days when a reporter could spend weeks on a single story are long ago.
CindyG: Trish will remember the Mull-Hawes-Army Corps team.
cherrillclifford: Johannesson has been dealing with this environmental baloney from day one. Old video shows him addressing it way back in the 1990s..
cherrillclifford: S
SYSTEM: Please welcome KenMurray who just joined the chat.
ProducerBadBob: Greetings ken
KenMurray: The problem with Costco is the developer Levinson. He has been the problem since he took over from his father in the mid 1990's
cherrillclifford: Shasta Bible College had to deal with this. When new roads went in it created a pond, of sorts, in the field. They declared it a wetland & church not allowed to develop it. Johannessen cited this often as an example of how absurd the environmentalists are.
CindyG: Levinson has knocked heads with Mike Warren, true. But at what point do we get beyond personalities and start taking care of taxpayer citizens in Redding?
CindyG: The safety of businesses and Redding citizens is being jeaopardized by failure of Oasis Rd to be built.
KenMurray: Levinson has had permission from COR for over 10 years to build. He merely wants the city to give up all sales tax generated by the project so he can essentially have the citizens of Redding pay for his development.
Sungold: Bethel seems to move right along on their projects.
CindyG: Not completely true, Ken. Those conditions are outrageous and you know it. Or should. A business friendly city would NOT have such conditions. City has used Army Corps as a pawn.
Sungold: Those housing building permits have stopped us from building, not paying that kind of exorbitant fee to build a house.
CindyG: Why else does Redding pay Corps $10,000 (or more) every year! Corps is an agency with jurisdiction over city projects. That is not right.
Sungold: Time to get going. always love Trish and Carl on Thursdays. They get us riled up and I like that!
ProducerBadBob: see you sunny
CindyG: 404 permit was not awarded until Oct. 2014.
CindyG: Does it make sense for city to prevent this project - - like cutting off one's nose, isn't it?
cherrillclifford: Reverge on how much better it is in CT than Shasta County. http://www.shastaconservative.com/AnselmoLetter.htm
CindyG: 404 is the Army Corps permit that was needed before anything could happen. Ken's statement about developer had OK for 10 years is not correct.
cherrillclifford: Reverge Anselmo: "I've been building garden walls and re-trenching power and water runs, for months now. No permit is required, no inspector walks in; its immaterial to anyone but the property owner. California and Shasta County in particular are so at variance with liberty, so hostile to the concep
