OK, so last night in the wee hours one of our neighbors left their dog out, it's 28 degrees and some a$$&@!& left his dog outside! I felt so sorry for the dog.
Dave:
Today, Shasta is up 8.5 ft from the low of 912 ft about a month ago. The outflows are about the same as last year. The difference is that this year, the watershed is getting snow. Last year it got rain so the lake filled up early.
Angel:
Is that good or bad for the lake, seems to me the snow will melt and keep the water flowing through the warm months
Dave:
Shasta is down 147 ft from the brim. Usually the maximum rise is about April 1 from snow melt.
Angel:
The rain should be strong this week, looking forward to seeing how much we get in the lake

Thank you
Dave:
krcrtv could do a better job on this story.
Dave:
Expect a lot of snow this week. Snow on the mountains is better than rain.
Angel:
I think we are getting both!

welcome Toddb
ToddB:
You are right, Carl. This IS a big problem with lack of interest or lack of focus on selecting Veterans Officers. Its a shame what's going on!
ToddB:
Seems the chair of the board of supervisors should be weighing in. What is Moty doing about it?
ToddB:
Or ANY supervisor for that matter. The buck stops with them.

It is not going to turn out well, the Bundy's are calling for people to come with their weapons
ToddB:
What is different from Hammonds using fire to stop non-native invasive weeds than the fires the USForest Service does????
ToddB:
It cost my grandmother $479!! Outrageous. She was perfectly SAFE in doing what she did. Absolutely no other traffic around.
ProducerBadBob:
Random Thought...Are the same people who are picking on Carrie Fisher's appearance in then new Star Wars film fans of Hillary Clinton? If so...why?
Sungold:
I heard a quick news blurb that the fire the Hammonds set was to cover up deer poaching operation they were doing. anyone else here this quick tidbit?
Angel:
That is random Bad Bob, did you see the movie BadBob?
ProducerBadBob:
Yes...and I maintain that Fisher right now is a whole lot easier on the eyes than Billary EVER was...
Angel:
I only know they were convicted of the Arson and I think went to jail
Angel:
LOl Bad Bob, what did you think if the movie?
Sungold:
Yes that is the major news now, this was very quick, but I have not heard it since. Will Google it
Angel:
Once they take over buildings and tell people to bring arms and join them, they lose sympathy
ProducerBadBob:
I think JJ Abrams hit it out of the park...he had a very big challenge and did right by the story.
Angel:
My husband is the Star Wars fan but I enjoyed the humor

Sungold:
A quick, concise write up about the Hammonds
Angel:
I'll read it, I just hate the thought that this will not end well when they make statements like they will kill or be killed.
ProducerBadBob:
Abrams walked the line between respecting the existing fan base and passing the torch forward. It could have gone wrong a hundred ways. Was it perfect? No...but it was a lot of fun.
Angel:
Hopefully it will end peacefully
ProducerBadBob:
Yes, when you get idiots with firearms on both sides, things can get very sideways very fast.
Angel:
It was a lot of fun, I think he had a high bar to achieve
Jarhead:
