Good Morning all

II think Brown is just undermining public safety, he we thinks we are stupid, wants to remove mandatory sentencing
Angel:
Good morning Sun
drmaria:
^^Angel I just read that - Whuuuuthe
Jarhead:
great lady... have a great retirement Sam...you deserve it
drmaria:
^^Yes she is a very generous person
ProducerBadBob:
"Red Sky In The Morning...Sailor Take Warning."
Jarhead:
as soon as Carl joined they came after us...lol
Jarhead:
street sweepers
Sungold:
Exactly what went through my mind this morning when I went out to look
Angel:
I guess the people of Ca voted in mandatory sentencing for certain crimes and Brown thinks if they are doing well they should be let out.
Angel:
I just don't get it
Jarhead:
we are waiting for approval from Cal Trans...should be any day...one is going on your corner
Sungold:
Yea, they let them out, and within a week they have done a bad deed, some very serious
drmaria:
^^^So Brown is t he one going to determine if they (criminals) are "doing well"
Jarhead:
our street sweepers are going to be emptying ours
Angel:
Or over crowding.
drmaria:
I have to go read that - Bosenko just posted it...

Angel:
Rain is good! Just hate walking in it
Sungold:
Bob Brannon used to take the inmates out to city streets to pick up garbage, they have him assigned now to homeless cleanup. There is so much garage along churn creek and Rancho Rd, it is sickening. I see it all over Shasta View Drive too...everywhere now
Sungold:
Been here over 52 years and have never seen Redding so dirty!
Angel:
They still have those crews
drmaria:
Shasta Support Services has done an amazing job cleaning up as much as they can
Sungold:
I've seen that guy outside your station Carl!
Angel:
Me too, stinks out there
Sungold:
Angel, who is doing the street clean-up?
Angel:
They have, it's the homeless nooks and crannies
Sungold:
We pick up garbage in our neighborhood everyday when we walk the dog
Angel:
I see the city truck out with people every so often, at least on the trails
Sungold:
Teens are so bad now, they throw out so much food that they have not eaten. Why can't they take it home to eat later?
drmaria:
LOL!!!!!!
drmaria:
Awesome!! That's how it's suppose to be: Lead By Example
Sungold:
In that case, I am going to give streets dept a call today and see who to call about it.
SYSTEM:
Please welcome Red who just joined the chat.
Joe:
City wants to pass street cleanup cost and responsibility to us through the adopt a street program
Angel:
They arrested more folks in the Oregon stand off
Sungold:
Everytime we have company now, a comment is made to us about how Redding has changed from the last time they were here. Some have mentioned the homeless hanging our around the downtown Safeway. Our company came off of 5, stopped there to buy flowers and said they would not stop there again
Carl:
R---not here?
drmaria:
^^Oh Great!!
Angel:
They are threat in ging to shoot law enforcement, not good
Angel:

drmaria:
This should NOT be about Meghan
Sungold:
I heard that Seattle has a huge explosion of homeless. They even have an area they refer to as The Jungle, where there are masses of homeless living. Such a sad situation
Jarhead:
the most important thing for us is to hear the candidates...it shouldn't matter who asks the questions...replace her and move on...its about the candidates not the people asking questions...move on
ProducerBadBob:
There was a shooting incident there the other night.
ProducerBadBob:
like a full on gunfight between factions
Joe:
BadBob: Where is there?
ProducerBadBob:
Seattle Jungle.
Sungold:
Yes, that is when I heard what is happening in Seattle
drmaria:
I like the point: How is going to handle ISIS if he can't even show up to a dang Debate - SHOW UP!!!
Jarhead:
I think wounded warrior was a bad choice of veteran charities though but appreciate his efforts
ProducerBadBob:
It appears to have been a targeted attack on a camp.
Angel:
That's what they get, all the homeless villages and housing, j homelessness shouldn't be made comfortable or a way of life
drmaria:
Jarhead...it's like Trump says Wounded Warrior as a phrase and not an organization - it's like he doesn't even know how bad that organization is
Sungold:
One person does not need to handle all those issues. They need to surround themselves with folks who already know how to do it. Obama has his mitts in everything, and nothing is getting done right
Angel:
Trump has lived a privileged life, he doesn't understand real life struggles
Sungold:
Most of them have lived privileged lives, they have no clue what it is like for the rest of us
Sungold:
Trump talks big, but when you really get into the White House, most find it overwhelming
Angel:
I think Rubio has lived a normal life, student loans etc
Angel:
I hope he starts to emerge
Angel:
I am so over Trump
Sungold:
I like him too,
drmaria:
Black and White should we drink: Tequila or Whiskey

Tequila

This is where my Irish/Mexican blood starts fighting itself....

durable goods orders fell over 5% in December...thats 4 out of 5 months and two in a row... where is the recovery politicians want to talk about ?
ProducerBadBob:
A review of snopes and other sources only mentions the Bureau of Federal Prisons removing pork from menus, nothing about a complete federal food service ban. When I was up in Portland in November, I successfully ordered a Baconburger in the commisary of the Federal Building..so the claim does not h

Gref:
Bob, Snopes? HAve you researched who snopes employs and where they get thier information?
Gref:
Its a married team who google for the answers. Its biased to say the least.
ProducerBadBob:
Snopes was not the ONLY reference, I looked at a number of sources. But people will insist that the entire Internet is under the control of the ...whoever
drmaria:
That's one thing I like about Red - he knows his history like a Marine knows his History!
Gref:
lol, I know the illuminati
ProducerBadBob:
Yes just as I take ANY claim of ANYTHING with a grain of salt...but...yeah people will insist on believing what they want to believe and to hell with FACTS and LOGIC.
Gref:
roger that, I felt the same way a few weeks ago regarding the person in the VSO office
Gref:
People believed what they wanted to based upon someone elses rhetoric
Gref:
I thought Bundy was being targeted for his cattle trespassing on federal land?
RallySally:
Public land.
Joe:
I believe Gref is correct. Bundy did not pay his federal grazing fees and then stole the grazing anyway on federal leased grazing lands
Gref:
Roger that Sally....according to feds it was their land.
Gref:
Funny how they want to arrest a guy for his cattle grazing, but wont arrest illegal immigrants for trespassing.
drmaria:
^^^Yes!! So quickly!!
Gref:
Why haven't they gone after the illegals who started the massive fire in 08 near San Diego?
drmaria:
Which is not owned by the Gvt!! It is OUR land!!! The People's Land!!
Gref:
Then they deport immigrant veterans for acting out due to ptsd and deny them veterans benefits.
RallySally:
The federal government is only allowed to "own" the 10 sq. miles surrounding Washington Dc. and forts and ports if the State wants them to. The States have that discretion. Article 1 Section 8 clause 17.
Gref:
I agree Dr.
Gref:
Does the BLM own the land at SuperFund sites such as Iron Mountain?
RallySally:
The BLM doesn't own any land. They are the Bureau of Land MANAGEMENT.
Gref:
Roger that Sally. I was escorted off BLM land, near Keswick when I was 4x4ing. They did save me in a way, I hadnt noticed the biohazard markers in the area.
drmaria:
^^Gref....LOL!! You in my backyard bro? Better be careful back there...
drmaria:
^^Gref - I don't know if I believe the "biohazard" but maybe I am just being silly
Joe:
other than the highly acidic water I suspect that the land near keswick is not a hazzard for hikers and riders unless they are eating the soil and drinking the water
RallySally:
They were going to see Sheriff Palmer in Grant county when they were roadblocked.
Gref:
As you go to the shooting range, the bare area with ricks blocking you from driving up the hill, Find a route down hill toward the lake( which is used to dillute the hazardous run off from Iron mountain, and as you stroll down the shoreline, youll see plastic markers with bio hazard warnings
Gref:
*rocks
Gref:
We were kicking up dust. Lots of dust, and as I learned in the Stan, the air can be very hazardous.
drmaria:
^^Gref there is so much being blocked now all around there...compared to 12 years ago when I first moved onto my property
drmaria:
^^Yellow Dam Gates everywhere!!
Gref:
I believe that.
Gref:
Thats why you go around them...lol
drmaria:
^^Yup
Gref:
Although you have to have a vehicle that can get scratched and dented.
drmaria:
^^Dam Manzanita everywhere from the smelters
drmaria:
^^had to "fill" it with something
Gref:
^^yep.
drmaria:
^^Dirtbikes Baby!!!
Gref:
Had to stop the hazardous waste
