comradeann: g
comradeann: good morning from beautiful Pittville, California!
ProducerBadBob: Actually know where that is on the road out of Fall River.
ProducerBadBob: Well...somewhat OFF the road...
ProducerBadBob: Two words, Ann...RAT FARM
comradeann: Trump is winning because the leadership in both parties has failed dismally, the people have had it with politicians being bought and paid for by special interests and ruling class elitist's
comradeann: you can get stuck at the rat farm this time of the year if you get off the cinders!
comradeann: we are in Lassen county now
ProducerBadBob: Oh yes, that lovely slimy red clay/cinder blend that turns to pudding mixed with Elmer's Glue-All when it rains.
comradeann: Pittville is the banana belt of the fall river valley
comradeann: Oops, just got caught, Fred said "you're back in business aren't you!"
Jarhead: and if Obama does nothing....that may help Trump even more
Sungold: I looked houses for sale in Pittville, and the only ones I could find are in McCArther
Sungold: Part of Pittville is actually in Shasta Co
comradeann: I don't think congress will allow gitmo to close. how many more days til that clown vacates the WH?
comradeann: sungold, not the part we live in
Sungold: That soil does not sound good, can one plant a veggie garden up there?
comradeann: the mailing address is mcarthur because pittville does not have a zip code or post office
Sungold: Yea, Regan closed down all the mental health facilities. I remember my grandparents talking about that
ProducerBadBob: if you are on the old river bottom near Fall River it's crazy fertile...but when you get on the "Bench" that's when you hit the slippery stuff
comradeann: if you can grow in redding, you can grow in pittville, we have sandy loam, farmground
Sungold: Oh good Ann, wish I had that loam here
ProducerBadBob: Some of the best wild rice anywhere
comradeann: that is one of the reasons trump is so popular, he isn't PC.
drmaria: price of gas going down is not neccessarily a good think...
Sungold: Did you know wild rice is not really a rice, but a grass seed?
drmaria: *thing
comradeann: yes
ProducerBadBob: yep
SYSTEM: comradeann just signed off.
Sungold: water grass seed, zizania aquatica
Sungold: San Francisco talk show guys having fits about Trump...so funny to listen to them playing sound bites of his, taking comments totally out of context
Sungold: what is dbra?
drmaria: Yeah - like babies
Sungold: Never used talcum powder on my babies, did not want them breathing it in
Sungold: dbra must be classified info!
Sungold: Downtown Redding Business Association
Jarhead: market down 200....10 yr treasury dropping...good for refi's
Jarhead: and purchasing
SYSTEM: Please welcome Scott who just joined the chat.
Carl: test
Jarhead: try catching a falling knife...
Jarhead: its a bit range bound currently
Jarhead: 529 works like a roth...tax free as long as the proceeds are taken out correctly
Sungold: I wonder what would happen to 529's if a new president made college education free?
Sungold: I tend to lean towards, how much can I save!
Sungold: I prefer to save up for things like new carpet, new couch, then pay cash!
Sungold: Something so satisfying about that!
Jarhead: always nice to make upgrades to our daily life and not increase our debt load
Jarhead: but they got derailed
Jarhead: how much extra star dust are they going to need for a church that big ?
ProducerBadBob: Well on the up side, a construction project that size would not be a bad thing.
ProducerBadBob: Even if they hired out of town, local wholesalers and retailers/housing would benefit from a multi-year project such as the megachurch
Sungold: Everything I hear about Bethel has been good, so far
Sungold: I know the folks out there are up in arms however. The neighborhood is being gradually bought up by Bethel Church folks to house students
Sungold: New home built right next door to our friends, lot sat empty for years, then all of a sudden up goes a 6 bedroom house. they kept it quiet for a long time until my friends noticed all the cars and students
Sungold: New home in our neighborhood too, lots of cars, kids who come and go. No problems caused except for the impact of cars on the street
