When a government/society needs to distract attention from their problems they pick someone to blame all the troubles on to focus the anger. Often it's the Jews, For the Greeks, it's the Turks...and vice versa...for the Serbs it's the Croats...for the Catholics it's the Protestants...etc...etc...

Not all Co. employees are over payed but many are. Private sector jobs should always pay more than government jobs. That's the way it use to be.

Scott, your right. Deputies should be paid more for the risks they fave daily.

The city is overpaid for sure.

A guy who mows lawns for the city makes 45k a year. Riding a lawnmowet.

The civic center is a classic example, city could'nt make it work but private sector is making lots of money

The contract states they'd guarantee a certain amount. They hit that target and pay the city

The city was ripping the people off running that place

Questions to ask, is where does that money go to? Especially since almost all the employees employed by the city lost their jobs at the civic.

They are making a profit off the private company running it. The company replaced the lights and modernized the screens and sound system. Didn't cost the city a dime.
