ProducerBadBob: The "August From Hell" that summer had every day 100+, and ten straight days of 110+ Temps at night didn't go below 80. Asphalt parking lots were so soft that motorcycles would fall over, and a truck parked out back left imprints that are still there last I looked.

ProducerBadBob: And as I recall, not one panicked scream about Global Warming...it was "Well...yep...Summer in Redding"

Fred: The fiber internet seems like a no brainer and I am glad you are leading the charge. How else do you see yourself leading efforts to improve the business climate in Redding?

Sungold: One summer when our kids were toddlers and babies, we had two days 122 and 124. I had pneumonia and it was awful

BillGates: Back then they were decidign to change their tactics from thew coming ice age to global warming.

Sungold: Our son moved his computer business to another part of Sacramento last year, and fiber optic was brought into his section just by asking.

BillGates: The government is not to mold businesses, it should stay out of the way. What we need is less regulation to create new business

BillGates: I say we have to wait untill businesses are interested in moving here. Tha's not saying the we shouldn't put some feelers out

KK: Adam if you have not talked with Cal Trans, I suggest that you talk to them before you go futher. There is no sence in doing twice the work if you/ the city does not have to.

BillGates: The real big problem is the economy. This is because people do not have jobs. But to create new jobs, we should drop ost of the business startup expence and not dictate the direction we go.

ProducerBadBob: I don't think so, and here's why. The Sheraton caters to a different audience than the average vacation traveler. As a "Starred" hotel, it will I think attract a different market than our current stopover offerings. It's a resort destination, not a stop and flop...at least that's my view.

ProducerBadBob: There are people of means traveling, who want first class lodgings...our high end Bed N Breakfast market is booked solid from what I hear.

ProducerBadBob: I firmly believe that this is a "Build it and they will come" People want places to recreate.

BillGates: I think if Trump wins, we will have another building boom in the United States

BillGates: I don't mind the idea of solar, but the idea that hydro is not green is some sort of maneuver by the greenies embedded in our government.

BillGates: we do not need any dams taken out unless we have plans to replace them

ProducerBadBob: yes, due to the cheaper cost of labor, few environmental restrictions, and tax breaks, it's just not economical to make stuff here that consumers will be willing to pay a LOT more for. sadly.

BillGates: I know that Gary is not a tax and spend official. What I want to vote for is another man or woman of the same mindset.

BillGates: I would go fro a 1 cent increase if it would be guaranteed that the money go ALL to law enforcement and or the creation of a prison.

Sungold: Airbnb in private homes are booked solid, as well.

BillGates: This environmental footprint attitude has to go away
