Ken Murray was there when I was....walked into my office ONCE! I was not impressed. He was never helpful like the other council members or City Managers were.

Redding has to go by what other cities do, or else they cannot get the experienced people to work here. they had a lot of trouble getting employees when we were all housed in cold, leaking trailers

The City must privatize in order to pay for the PERS requirements.

They used to do interviews at the Civic, the applicants were not interested when they saw the real City Hall

When I was hired they put me in a room at Fire Station 5. It was also a satellite office for the officers working that side of the river. I was appalled so I did some fundraising for carpet, paint and blinds and the volunteers did most of the work. .

The new City Hall was needed for many years. It is great the city employees finally have it.

Salaries are outrageous but there is no way anyone is going to lower them.
