Im of the opinion that the best people to do any study needed in Redding is to pull resources from our own City employees . Who else better knows what we need and how to do it than police, fire, REU, or any other department filled with folks who live, play, work, and eat here!

When I wanted to get information on a project, or a new program, I called other cities who were already successful with it, sometimes I made an appointment to visit them, drove my city van down and spent a day gathering info, talking with those who worked the program, etc. Much cheaper and faster

I felt I got much further towards my goals when I could tell council "this is what Fairfield did, this is how long it took, and this is what the benefits are for them".
