onion_grower: For Christmas, I read the first two chapters of Luke's Gospel. Takes ten minutes. My favorite part is Simeon's prayer. I listen to Handel's Messiah, the parts leading up to the birth of Christ.

Jarhead: I knew we could do it... we have stopped them procreating..
Jarhead: they probably scheduled it anyway
onion_grower: Shasta is 67% full today. They should let is fill up to about 90%. At the dam, the lake is 350 ft. deep when full. The weight of that water pumps it into the aquifer. The more weight, the more is injected into the bedrock.
Jarhead: but the cia has no evidence either...just their professional opinion
onion_grower: I don't think much of the judgement of RS editors. For over three years, they let the comments section get out of control. It was a real embarrassment to the democratic party. The RS pushed housing first and measure D. Their pushing the drug culture made this city worse. Why would anyone listen
Jarhead: DA sucks... what a fool.... had the city council dead to rights and came out with a ruling of the Brown act is unenforceable ...a paper tiger and would not move forward....this guy has ZERO honor
onion_grower: Smoke started the bully fire when he was delivering soil amendments to his grow bags in Ono. The paper has it wrong. A truck that size full of fertilizer would have $50,000. If he were delivering fertilizer, a quad cycle or pickup would hold the load.
SYSTEM: Please welcome Sungold who just joined the chat.
onion_grower: The soil is so bad in the Igo Ono area that they grow in soil amendments.
Sungold: Good Morning
onion_grower: I move that the Chief should be allowed to speak his piece without the usual stuff from Mr. Rapoza. It is the season of peace on earth, good will to men. We are all tired of Rapoza and we know what he will say.
onion_grower: It would be a Christmas gift from KCNR to the Chief.
Jarhead: the evidence on the city council was a slam dunk... even the state attorney general was in agreeance but wanted the county to have an opportunity to address it... big mistake
onion_grower: I got a great Christmas card from my brother. My nephew, 1st LT Army signal corps is back from Kuwait. He has a happy smile getting a big hug from his mom.

Phillip-smith: Is it true Redding police department only has ONE offficer assigned to Robbery
ProducerBadBob: PS send your question again after news thanks about to hit top of hour
Sungold: Bob Blankenship predicted this...he always said, "it is a cat and mouse game, and the RATS are winning!"
Joe: We have one of the highest paid police forces in the state, how can there still be a crime problem?
Jarhead: "everyone of his people" are good looking and genius and and
Phillip-smith: Had to step away for a sec. was it answered if we only have one officer for robbery
Jarhead: you can say it...we already know...lol
ProducerBadBob: That will be addressed after the break.
SYSTEM: Please welcome Mpseabe who just joined the chat.
Phillip-smith: One for robbery. Is that a number that most department carry for our size town
Sungold: They prioritize cases
Sungold: The Investigators can all work on burglary, robbery, just depends on the case load and what is more important at the time
Sungold: Obviously, a home burglary is not as important as an abduction
Phillip-smith: Not sure that is true. SG.
SYSTEM: Please welcome Jarhead who just joined the chat.
onion_grower: Question for Chief: Will body cameras take one lieutenant or sergeant away from his usual police work? We need more officers on the street, not more behind the desk working on stuff like body cameras.
Mpseabe: Can citizens be deputize to help enforce laws?
Mpseabe: What's going on with retired MP'S and carrying con eased? Has the guard made decisions yet? How does that effect medical retired mps?
onion_grower: Body cameras mean administrative overhead. How many hours will each officer be away from police work for training?
Mpseabe: *concealed
ProducerBadBob: That's a function of the County Sheriff and is a complex set of laws made more complex by litigation.
Mpseabe: The chief is a Ltd. COL. IS ARMY_DOC_ROD99@YAHOO.COM GUARD 49TH MP BN
Joe: Bob, I'm confused by the lack of a subject in your post, to whom or what are you replying?
Mpseabe: Dang auto correct
Mpseabe: Lt. Colonel 49th mps
Mpseabe: Ndaa..2013
ProducerBadBob: Joe that was responding to the question about the Chief of Police "deputizing" private citizens to carry out law enforcement. That's generally only in extreme situations.
Joe: ty bob
Mpseabe: Does the city require officers to qualify on their weapons once a year?
Mpseabe: Do they have pop up targets
Mpseabe: Why are the officers shooting so much ammo(99 rounds ) but only hitting the target with 3?
ProducerBadBob: We will ask the chief, but there are a number of tools used to maintain proficency. Among them (and I did it once as a reporter) is a "shoot/don't shoot" simulator. And believe me...it's scary hard.
Sungold: Yes, it is, I got to do that when I was there. I failed miserably. They shoot all the time at the range.
Mpseabe: Bob...mps practice same drills. Breaxhing..required taking, and pepper spraying.
Mpseabe: Breaching
SYSTEM: Please welcome DeeDee who just joined the chat.
Mpseabe: Tasing
ProducerBadBob: Welcome DeeDee
Sungold: Too bad they did not get the building they wanted with an underground range
ProducerBadBob: I played around with a full immersion VR simulation and my heart was racing, I KNEW it was a sim but I was freaking out. Very eye opening.
Mpseabe: Mps and all army personal have to hit their target a minimum 23 shots. But they have to zero their sight and put 6 rounds inside a circle
Mpseabe: Under the name d Aaron, states all retired military police are allowed to carry concealed in all 50 states
Mpseabe: N d a a
DeeDee: Today, Dec. 15, is the 225th anniversary of the Bill of Rights. Shasta Co BOS passed a resolution recognizing the importance of this document.
Jarhead: Chief, you said some good things in that meeting... but unfortunately you have lost a lot of credibility... you are now being grouped with the city council
ProducerBadBob: Don't you love autocorrect?
Mpseabe: No Bob I dont
Mpseabe: Lol
ProducerBadBob: =)
Mpseabe: Retired military police? As volunteers?
Mpseabe: What's max age for vadet
Mpseabe: Cadet
Mpseabe: Pc832? For volunteers
Jarhead: obviously the self imposed policy's are not working...the posting of 7 days on homeless camps and the requirements for officers...change some things....you have a lot of retired veterans that would be available part time to help with local enforcement...
Mpseabe: Pc832
Mpseabe: Covers that
Jarhead: what is PC832 ?
Mpseabe: Works for the Sheriff's dept
Mpseabe: Penal code 832 is minimum requirements to work in an jail, make arrests, inventory property book and release
Mpseabe: The state requires their peace officers at the vet hospitals, and social services to have pc 832
Sungold: Cadets are usually 16 to 21
Sungold: All departments have different requirements, not sure what Paoletti does
Mpseabe: State capitol police are 832 qualified but operate with an memo of understanding with c h p
Mike: Pi__ing into the wind and it's only going to get worse. The "bleeding hearts now will have a super majority in Sacramento.
Mpseabe: True sun, but in talking about the minimum to make arrests, search, strip search, seize, and inventory property
Sungold: Here is infor on the RPD cadet program http://www.theblueline.com/draft/CAredding.html
Mpseabe: The corrections officers in the jails have to have it
Mike: Learn how to protect youeself and love ones/friends. Keep your stuff locked up and hope the people of California will wake up.
Mike: 12%? More like 21 to 25%
Sungold: MP I was answering your question about the age of a cadet
SYSTEM: Please welcome Jarhead who just joined the chat.
Jarhead: give stillwater back to the county so I can hunt on it again
