Sungold: Is that a new audio bar above?
Jarhead: Gene Autry
Jarhead: Sun, perfect cold weather meal...that even the leftovers are amazing...
Sungold: Yep! I love leftovers, too.
Jarhead: who cares what the count is... the process is a disgrace
Sungold: A friend of mine passed this along to me. Put a sign on your front porch saying : "FED EX, UPS, USPS, AMAZON" Help your self to some goodies to enjoy on your route. Jarhead: we should do the recall the same way...
Sungold: water and iced tea.
Jarhead: Carl, let's do the recall the same way !!!
Sungold: Sending that letter back will not do anything....they have an agenda and they are sticking to it.
Sungold: I think massive phone calling would work best.
Sungold: We never got the letter, I look at everything

Simon_T_Pieman: Hi. Just waiting for Dr. KT to come on.
Sungold: Jared, do you know why my audio keeps going out and then when I click it back on, it takes me back severa minutes. I just heard Kate talking about the raised rates twice
Jared: hmm... im not sure. as far as i can see the stream here is working
Jarhead: wow...way too much info
Sungold: My husand has been complaining that the audio from your station on his car is bad too, lots of static
Jarhead: Spartan !!!
Simon_T_Pieman: NOW you tell me!!
Simon_T_Pieman: Mom's now going to put tin foil all over the house!
Jarhead: snookie...oh...how precious...Carl's protector is named 'snookie' ?
Sungold: That is what our lovely fur kids do! We are their pack and their property. Especially the little ones
Sungold: Yea, that is why Carl calls her Elk Killer
Sungold: My protector is 13 pounds and nobody gets on our property without her unleashing her very loud and fierce barking.

Simon_T_Pieman: KT, what's the number for Animal Poison Control?
Simon_T_Pieman: Kara?
Jared: 888 426 4435.. not sure if there is a local number
Simon_T_Pieman: I'm not local; living in VA. Thanks!

Mike: Maybe you should ask the voters.
Jarhead: Mike...no one cares about what the voters think.... thats why the measure lost
Mike: Bingo
Jarhead: Julie won because she is something new....and Gary lost because he wasn't something new...he was part of the council that everyone distrusted
SYSTEM: Please welcome onion_grower who just joined the chat.
Mike: Winter won because of Bethel
Jarhead: he is a boy that lost and just can't understand and is looking for ANYTHING that can explain why people didn't follow his lead....
Mike: Cadd lost because he's done nothing for 4 years.
onion_grower: I think voters will approve a county wide tax for a county jail. County wide means $14 million instead of $11. Shingltown, Andeson, Shasta Lake city, Palo cedro all benefit. There is a lot of alcohol and tobacco plus other tax able items sold outside of city of redding.
Mike: Moty was re-elected
onion_grower: City of Redding could jijack the tax revenue from going to the jail by a lawsuit. I called in to Gary Cadd and mentioned a Walt McNeil lalwsuit. That is his bread and butter
Mike: People don't trust the 3rd floor
onion_grower: The fastest way to get a jail is a county wide tax. A city tax for a county jail is asking for a lawsuit which could delay the jail by five years or more.
onion_grower: The blueprint for public safety stinks. W
onion_grower: We need the jail. The rest is junk.
Mike: Rocky is the one who is disconnected
Jarhead: blue print for public safety ? it doesn't exist unless you are talking about the original that the city tore up... but that the taxpayer paid 155,000 for
Jarhead: he is such a little cupcake generation rep...is he in a safe place ? play doh? coloring books ?
Jarhead: it pisses me off that he calls the majority in our community "disconnected"
onion_grower: I think the jail will make money. When people have to stay long enough to bail out, when they jump bail, the county gets to keep the forfeited money. For example Freddie Smoke. When they have to release on own recognizance, they lose the revenue from bail jumpers.
Jarhead: we should be discussing a PRIVATE prison...that we could rent beds to other county's throughout the state....Stillwater seems like an obvious choice and before anyone cries...I won part of Stillwater and would be in favor
Jarhead: hundreds of good paying jobs from prison guards to health care jobs and admin....many support businesses would also be needed
SYSTEM: Guest just signed off.
Mike: Who handled the marketing?
onion_grower: California will be reducing funding to the county. The highest priority of this state is building the high speed train to connect the sanctuary cities. Congress will be cutting funding to a state which defies the law by having sanctuary cities.
Sungold: Stillwater is too close to residential areas. The folks out here would protest
Sungold: Shastina subdivision is going in too and it is a massive neighborhood
onion_grower: The area near Coleman fish hatchery would be better for a state, federal or private prison. If we had a decent congressman, we would have a federal prison. Prisoners could work fighting fire on blm or usfs land.
Jarhead: shastina would be a great place for the guards to live
Jarhead: if the community owner it...we could realize the gains
Sungold: Yeh and the families of the inmates....no way!
Jarhead: Sun, im sure they are nice people...lol
Mike: Lack of LEARDERSHIP
onion_grower: The democrats in Sac believe pushing prisoners out of state prisons is a success. Read the Bee. I could see them closing San Quentin, an incredibly valuable piece of real estate. In 10 or 20 years, I see the state getting totally out of the prison business and shifting that to the counties.
Jarhead: leadership is our problem.....period.
Sungold: Jar, some may be, but statistics show that neighborhoods near prisons are not the best.
Sungold: I used to see rap sheets on families whose criminal activity go back for generations
Jarhead: wow...all of a sudden...they recognize the unfunded pension GORILLA !!
Jarhead: Sun...I was just kidding...I live by you as well.. and would not want a prison near my children either...lol sorry to get your blood up
