XXter: When I see a law enforcement officer, who is openly carrying a side arm, I don't even think about the fact that he or she has a weapon. I say it is a psychosis of fear that creates the unconstitutional demand not to carry.

Greg: We have an absolute right to own and carry any firearm and that can not be infringed. Where the government has a compelling interest is in the illegal USE of a firearm. Until then the Second Amendment prohibits the government from touching (infringing) on the right to own and carry firearms.

Greg: It is interesting that government officials and law enforcement officers can carry guns without permits, but citizens in a "may issue" state have to ask for permission to carry a gun even though that contradicts the Second Amendment. Which means the government has rights that the people do not. An
