guest: vets in shasta county represent one in every 5 votes... SCVAC was registered as a 501c-19 so they are political and can endorse...

guest: playing a much more organized role in effecting change... we have some issues at the VA clinic that needs addressed, we have some projects that could use county assistance... and we have a leadership role in assuring a sense of honesty exists and is required in our local govt...city and county

guest: would be willing... once we have the debates finalized, that would be great timing

guest: we have a fun design and have spoken to most of the candidates, it will be in late sept. and will go for 3 consecutive weeks

Wiedy: My problem with trump is the fact that I have never heard him talk about or promote constitional issues.

ljs: I sometimes think that all the candidates on both sides are colluding to confuse us and manipulate the conclusion.

guest: Trump not being a politician has gotten him this far

ljs: I think that we have a one party system. I do not trust Trump either, but Phyllis Schlafly says that he is our last best hope

guest: if getting rid of the staus quo is our focus...then a non-politician is a priority as anything to do with the 'establishment' will assist in further the status quo... a non politician will never be as polished as the life time politicians

Wiedy: The Chinese have proven that communists can be good businessmen. Until trump starts promoting the constitution I can't support him.

guest: and until the other candidates quit taking campaign contributions in the 100 millions and agree to term limits for congress... I can't vote for them

Wiedy: There is no doubt that Cruz has a fundimental understanding of the constitution that trump does not. And a record to back it up.

rich_g: how will each candidate pay for the events, logistics, media, etc if they don't take contributions?

rich_g: this past week I was booted off the Keep it Calif. FB page because they did not want to talk about liberty, state sovereignty, capitalism, etc. so I sent their Admin. a suggestion to change their movement to "Keep it Cuba"

Wiedy: Correct rich. If they don't take contributions then only billionaire cut throat businessmen can afford to run.

ljs: why do we have to have political parties and how did they evolve into such powerful political entities?

Wiedy: The truth is all of this Trump, Cruz stuff is just a shiny object to draw our attention. Until we spend as much time veting our city councilmen, county supervisors and sheriff our situation will not improve for us or our children.

ljs: The Tea Party organization somewhat betrayed us in last election by promoting candidates who they turned on us after the election.

Tatonka: which Tea party was that or are you speaking in general terms

Wiedy: I think pjs got that backwards. The tea party has been betrayed by a number of the candidates they have backed. The Jefferson movement has had the same problem.

Wiedy: Ljs

ljs: Not the local party, but that which represented itself as a Tea Party for all of the states, although having a sacramento base, and pretended to vet candidates from all states.

ljs: I am on medicare and receive suggestions as to examinations that I am qualified for, such as "extreme anger management", "alcohol and other substance abuse". I asked my doctor where that came from, the reply was "gun control."
