If he were to defy state law ( unconstitutional or not) the state can pull if law enforcement cert. then he could not run for sher

Wiedy: Well straightens part of the issue. I was under the impression that you are barred from law enforcement activity without the certificate. Essentially a sheriff becomes an administrator and has to rely on his deputies.
