This morning Carl and Linda hosted the Stellar Charter School who presents: Shrek The Musical Jr. Directed by Maureen Sanders, based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film and fantastic Broadway musical. It's a "big bright beautiful world" as everyone's favorite ogre, Shrek, leads a cast of fairytale misfits on an adventure to rescue a princess and find true acceptance. Part romance and part twisted fairy tale, Shrek JR. is an irreverently fun show with a powerful message for the whole family. In the second hour the Honorable Stephanie A. Bridgett to discuss important issues concerning prosecution of crimes in Shasta County.

In the first hour Carl spoke with some of the fighters at the upcoming celebrity boxing event with “The Roaring Rumble: 1920s Celebrity Boxing”—a dazzling night of flapper dresses, fedoras, and jazz age thrills, paired with the excitement of live celebrity boxing! Local stars and public figures will step into the ring to support Raising Shasta’s programs for children and families in our community. In the second hour Carl and Linda spoke with J.B. Stacy is the second General Manager of the Red Bluff Round-Up. In addition to running the day to day operations of the rodeo, he works with all committee chairmen to make sure that the pieces of the puzzle are ready for the big event the third weekend in April. J.B. manages the staff and works closely with the Board of Directors and Executive Board to ensure that all aspects of the rodeo business is being handled properly. J.B. has been a volunteer to the Red Bluff Round-Up since 1978 and a Director since 2015. J.B. also spends countless hours in the community promoting the Round-Up, and is the liaison with the City, County, State Official, and the Fair Grounds.
