Onion_growe: The Jefferson Counties should join Nevada. Much more achievable. Congress more likely to approve that than getting into a dispute about adding a Republican state on the west coast.

Onion_growe: Many companies would like to invest in Redding, Nevada. It would be a great place to retire, not just for the very poor and mentally ill.

Onion_growe: As Reno becomes a University town and tech center, University of Nevada Redding sounds good. UC would never invest in a campus in a predominantly white region. In the unlikely event there is any more expansion, it will be in one of the hispanic cities.
