Da_Mouse: There are actually quite a few states without individual exchanges to my knowledge on the subject (though limited). There should be no reason that, lik eother insurance companies, if California became two states that you couldnt do business across state lines.

Jerocua: So the exchange. not that I am any fan is the healthcare.gov is offered to states who do not set up an exchange.
Da_Mouse: To my knowledge, yes. The Supreme Court just decided that subsidies to those who use the federal exchange instead of state exchanges is also legal and contitutional. So it should work in Jefferson as we would be equal to all other states
Jerocua: all of our agencys n.cal buss may need to be re written it seems. yes I can sell across state lines but these current contracts are for and through CA. sry typeing from my phone.

Da_Mouse: Article I section 10 talks about contracts and how any entity much continue to keep contracts, so we would not force you to rewrite contracts, we would simply acknowledge the ones you already have and when you need to re-up them then you can do it in jefferson verbiage

Da_Mouse: Currently no one "funds" the SOJ movement. If a county wants to put the SOJ on the county vote then they raise the fund sin that county to do it. All of the traveling is paid for by the individuals. Money is raised to pay for the townhalls (rooms, insurance, etc). But currently there is no "funding"
