Craig: Mornin
SYSTEM: Please welcome jimmy who just joined the chat.
Craig: Keep it California is apparently upset alleging that spokepersons for SOJ continue to indicate that there are 8 counties on board...
Craig: and reiterate that Lake and Lassen Counties havent signed declarations.
SYSTEM: Please welcome jimmy who just joined the chat.
jimmy: good morning SOJ
Craig: GM jimmy
SYSTEM: Please welcome Da_Mouse who just joined the chat.
Da_Mouse: Good morning
SYSTEM: Please welcome RallySally who just joined the chat.
Da_Mouse: The Declarations are signed and have been given to the parliamentarian and senate andassembly :)
: A recent article in the Mountain Democrat (Placerville paper) used the word "secession" 3xs to describe our movement. Perhpas you could clarify the difference between separation and secession?
Da_Mouse: I can do that for ya :)
SYSTEM: Please welcome Todd who just joined the chat.
SYSTEM: Please welcome RallySally who just joined the chat.
Craig: The area of Jefferson is already a part of a state... Secession would imply that an existing state was departing from the union, seperation would indicate the existing state would be partitioned for the creation of a new state.
Craig: Dont mind the man behind the curtain...
RallySally: And the debt is much worse than we are shopwing!
RallySally: Showing.
Craig: Yes the debt gets worse when you go shopwing.
SYSTEM: Please welcome SteveBaird who just joined the chat.
SteveBaird: $340B debt comes from the LAO's report of May 2014
RallySally: :)
Craig: Is there an online source where the declaration documents for all eight counties can be viewed online?
Da_Mouse: soj51.net
Da_Mouse: that would be your best bet
Craig: But not a public (.gov) site?
Da_Mouse: It would be on the county record
Da_Mouse: and probably on their websites as well if they upload the oducments
Da_Mouse: I dont believe that the state publishes those kinds of documents until legislation is written
SteveBaird: need to focus Mike on to get specific points
Craig: Too bad, it might be helpful to difuse KICPAC's disinformation.
Da_Mouse: Told him, Steve! :)
Da_Mouse: Hey Steve, do you know if the declarations are published on a .gov website
Craig: If it were anywhere it would be in the Secretary of State, correct?
Todd: I watched the presentation on Tuesday on-line, my highlights were the Sheriff's, and Mark Baird
Da_Mouse: Do you know the name of the Sheriff?
Craig: Agostini
Todd: Sheriff John D’Agostini
RallySally: YES! That was her.
jimmy: So there is hope for the future
RallySally: It sounded like someone had written his missive for him.
SYSTEM: Please welcome ProducerJustBob who just joined the chat.
Craig: I wonder where Sheriff Bosenko is on the subject of Jefferson statehood.
Todd: I also noticed at the end of the meeting , one of the Supervisors made a comment about how California's Legislators are all voted in on population based
Da_Mouse: That's an excellent question
jimmy: my wife just brought up an interesting point. Why doesnt the local media cover more of the SOJ movement?
Da_Mouse: They dont want to upset the status quo
Craig: Media has relegated SoJ as a quirky human interest story.
SteveBaird: I'm not sure if they've been published on .gov. I will have your answer by the next show. I know they are not on SOJ51.net. It only has voting results of the supervisors
Todd: Lots of hard work go in to it by all
Craig: I will be tuned in Steve.
Da_Mouse: Bosenko is fluffywhen it comes to Jefferson
jimmy: maybe it is a good thing to keep a lid on it in the local media until we get a set of tv and radio ads out. that way the rumours and misconceptions won't be drilled into the minds of the under/illinformed
Da_Mouse: Thank you steve
Craig: Bosenko is not our 'friend'.
jimmy: before we can bring out the facts
SteveBaird: ;)
jimmy: WHAT? Bosenko doesnt want SOJ?
Craig: You ever hear him publically support it?
Da_Mouse: no:(
RallySally: These commercials need to be on other programs too!
Craig: I wouldnt expect him to, certainly not without being pressed for it.
Da_Mouse: I'll ask bob if they are
jimmy: I would think he most of all would want it because the leaniency of California on repeat criminals and illegals would change BIG TIME
RallySally: I never hear them except on your program
Craig: Took five years to get him to admit on radio that he opposed open carry and would not issue licenses to do so.
SYSTEM: Please welcome Jerocua who just joined the chat.
Jerocua: Good day all,
Da_Mouse: He does issue open carry
jimmy: GM Jerocua.
Craig: Really? would you care to point out who has recieved such a license to open carry from Tom Bosenko?
Da_Mouse: You just have to jump through a bunch of hooops and have a very specific reason/job for it
Todd: Good Morning
Da_Mouse: My father
Jerocua: GM, I have a question. Would Jefferson be a Constituional Carry state?
Da_Mouse: He has since moved but he had one
Da_Mouse: (as of last year at least)
SteveBaird: ...shall not be infringed
Craig: yeah... an occupational license to open carry is through the dept of consumer affairs for security guards.
Da_Mouse: *coughs* Amen, Steve
jimmy: interesting craig
Craig: Bosenko doesnt do that.
Da_Mouse: I'll see if I cant get mor einfo on it
Jerocua: I was told by a local Sherriff that the 2nd was something from the Cowboy days and not to be taken seriously. Im not joking.
Jerocua: How can I think they will take over a new state and anything would be any differnt
Craig: Well he is wrong 2 ways. 1) it was from our nations founding 2) rights never go out of style.
Jerocua: I only asked why we ask permission for a right to carry when it says keep and bear arms.
jimmy: i do have a question. how difficult and how long would it take to put people in SOJ political positions
Jerocua: The response was, Oh thats Cowboy days stuff.
jimmy: Rory Gallagher has a song called smear campaign that is spot on
Da_Mouse: We have an election next November
Jerocua: These same people now getting and folllowing fed policy will do it later Im sure.
jimmy: An SOJ election?
Da_Mouse: We cant have SOJ elections until we are a state
Da_Mouse: But every 2 or 4 years we choose our representation
SteveBaird: Pico Act of 1859 - 36th parallel - So CA state actually exits
SteveBaird: If state sovereignty really exits
Da_Mouse: Did we ever check if the county lines are the same as they were in 1859
SteveBaird: It's the straight line at the 36th p
SteveBaird: IT's at a minimum the territory of Colorado
SYSTEM: Guest just signed off.
jimmy: just to make chit chat during the break. What do you folks see being on the SOJ state flag?
SteveBaird: Since the Governor signed it and validated it with a vote of the fewer that 12,000 residents of the time, it should be valid CA law
Jerocua: I just cant not comply, I must pay taxes. And If I carry without a ccw I would get a felony and Im just not willing to take this chance yet. I just yet have not become an outlaw.. Im here cause I want law...
jimmy: DUH ,what am I saying we already have a flag
SteveBaird: thanks for putting lid back on that can of worms (flag)
Craig: Actually, carrying without a carry license is a misdemeanor.
Jerocua: Thats interesting to know.
jimmy: carrying a loaded firearm concealed? or out in open/
Da_Mouse: Yes but it would still have to go through congress :)
Da_Mouse: @Jerocua: I respect that position strongly :)
Jerocua: ccw, I was here in El Dorado and currently submitted my appeal.
Jerocua: I had a warrent that was dimissed in 97 that I did not see when turning in my app
jimmy: I had a friend that had an SKS. the clip was out of it, but there was still one in the chamber. ( yes i know badbadbad) but they were going to charge him with a felony
Craig: Here is a story from a couple weeks back...http://www.actionnewsnow.com/videos/man-with-loaded-gun-at-chico-theater-released-charged/
Jerocua: So feel I am hiding info, This is what makes me look to move to AZ
Craig: SKS with detachable mags is a felony thanks to the Stockton schoolyard shooting
jimmy: sorry it was a zipper clip, my bad
Craig: Yeah, loaded weapons inside incorporated city limits is bad juju.
Da_Mouse: Before I had a CCW when I would drive extended distances (6 hours through mountain roads for example) I ensured I would be safe. Sometimes you just do what you have to but it's up to each person to decide where that line is
jimmy: sks with detachable mag is illegal, but an AR15 with one isnt? that doesn't make sense. OH wait we are talking about California,
Craig: Yeah. But the AR has to be 'featureless' or you have to have a bullet button.
Jerocua: Well I have much family in the Bay and although its prob the place I would need it most due to the laws/regs I just would not bring it.,. I live in Placerville and stay here.
jimmy: Yeah because we all know a bullet button is going to solve all our problems. GEEZ.
Craig: How many criminals have bullet buttons on their rifles?
jimmy: I am not arguing with you Craig i am being sarcastic. ;)
Craig: I read you 5x5.
jimmy: Oh yeah craig that is the main feature on a firearm when being purchased, stolen or traded for drugs when a felon aquires a firearm
Craig: I will stick around to ensure Jefferson is a ConCarry state that does not involve itself in anyones decision to be armed.
