Da_Mouse: Good morning :)

jimmy: is timber salvagable after a fire?
jimmy: figures;)
jimmy: The people running California did too much LSD in the 60's
jimmy: and 70's
SYSTEM: Please welcome JR who just joined the chat.
JR: My problem with this is that the same people that currently run CA would continue, Correct?
Da_Mouse: Not necessarily. Surely there would be a shift in the political offices of those already seated, but California is a top down system and Jefferson would be a bottom up which would solvemuch of our financial issues which then would filter into everything else
SYSTEM: Please welcome Red who just joined the chat.
JR: So off topic, would Jefferson be a constitutional carry state in your mind.
JR: ?
Da_Mouse: In my mind, absolutely yes.
Da_Mouse: The key word was "constitutional" :)
Da_Mouse: I would like to see an open carry state but we'll see what the will of the people is.
jimmy: If SOJ came to be. Do you ( Red/Mouse) think we could implement an "E-verify" law to stop the hireing of illegal's?
JR: I think of moving, I will never be able to apply again. I was denied by your beloved Sheriff over a ticket I did not take care of that turned to a warrant in 97
JR: I can never apply here in CA again
JR: they will except the same fed funding.
Da_Mouse: For a CCW?
JR: yes I was denied. by the oh so constitutional sherrriffff
JR: Without permission.
Da_Mouse: I'm sorry JR
JR: Permission from God to protect myself
JR: not the local man
JR: Jefferson will not change my problem soon. I hope it all happens. It would be much better then CA current state.
JR: So I am pro-Jefferson
Da_Mouse: I have always felt that it's easier to ask forgiveness than permission. I would rather get a slap on the wrist and me alive and go home to my family than beg for mercy from an attacker
Da_Mouse: Thank you for your support JR!
JR: As I told you before the local Sheriff told me that our 2nd was like cowboy days.
Da_Mouse: I know :( YIKES!
jimmy: .
jimmy: could we implement an e-verify to stop the hireing of illegals?
jimmy: being in construction it is very important to me
JR: I asked why I must ask permission, asked why does it say keep and bare arms? and I was told that was cowboy days in his words.
JR: Good day you all keep that in mind
SYSTEM: Please welcome RallySally who just joined the chat.
Da_Mouse: Isn't it a law to use e-verify?
JR: Obama doesnt pass his own so what do they matter?
jimmy: I do construction al over the state. illegals are so comfortable being here they will admit they are illegal because they know nothing will happen. I had to get an interpreter to talk to the EAD framer a couple of months ago
jimmy: *LEAD
Da_Mouse: Oh wow!
JR: My neighbors who were illegal down in Concord CA would drive drunk and get sent home where they fought chickens and the cops never said a word. I could go on and on how they get a free ride and they turn the other eye. Jimmy is so right.
jimmy: .
JR: I love our elderly! :) Amazing peeps
Da_Mouse: Most are darlings, but some definitely just wind up the younger generations especially when "We" hear things like "We made it so you have to" or "We earned it, so get over it"
Da_Mouse: I think that most of the "problem" generation is actually your 45-75
Da_Mouse: well, 45-60 probably
jimmy: I am 47 and i am a complete angel ;)
Da_Mouse: Of that I have NO doubt :P
JR: Understanding our $ has been devalued seems to be a problem to get across to my folks. When Pops made 20 hr back in 1973 and I make 15 to 20 in 2015, hmmm . Good playlist Red guy...:)
Da_Mouse: Oh wow!
Da_Mouse: Yeah
jimmy: WOW JR
Mike&Patty: some elderly folks listening might not have completely understanding what you said before the break
Da_Mouse: When my husband got his first full tiem career job outside of the military he was going to make 45k a year and my mom said that that was a great wage and my dad went "ummm, no...."
Da_Mouse: We'll touch it again :)
Mike&Patty: thanks, would hate to loose their support if they're confused and think you don't like them
SYSTEM: Please welcome Craig who just joined the chat.
Mike&Patty: if you're blaming them for our problems
SYSTEM: Please welcome RallySally who just joined the chat.
jimmy: I was working on a house on Sonoma st. In the attic I found a mortage reciept from the early 60's. The payment amout was around 80 dollars
RallySally: The dollar was worth a lot more in the 60's.
Craig: My parents bought their home on Suzette Way for $17,000.00
Da_Mouse: Oh my goodness!
jimmy: Whan i was a youngster in the early 70's i could go to the movies, get a soda and popcorn for a dollar
RallySally: We bought our first home in 1977 for $35,000
Da_Mouse: My CAR WAS 16,500
jimmy: When was that Craig?
Da_Mouse: Even the dollar theatre is 1.25
Craig: Mid sixties
jimmy: The good 'ol days
JR: I think the $20 was worth 4x I hear. My neighbors big home she said her husband paid 13K long ago.
Craig: Credit feeds inflation.
jimmy: .
jimmy: HEAR,HEAR
jimmy: .
Da_Mouse: It does :( But unfortunately the younger generation doesn't hav ea lot of options which why you see a lot of co-op houses and living with families
JR: Im not allowed to apply for a home loan without 20% down on a 200K house, ouch.
Da_Mouse: Wow
JR: Think about that.
jimmy: There are too many rumors about the SOJ and how we wouldnt be able to survive
SYSTEM: Please welcome Hillbilly who just joined the chat.
Craig: KICPAC claimed on their FB page that they were going to publish numbers proving that SoJ wasnt viable. Still waiting.
Da_Mouse: We hav eoffered to give them all of our research so that they can go through it and they said they wanted to do it their own way.
Da_Mouse: I look forward to their "study"
Hillbilly: More SOJ Rallies in the park..
Hillbilly: More SOJ Rallies in the park..
RallySally: Did you attend the last one, Hillbilly?
Craig: Mouse - they are gang bangers. They will drive by with their claim, but not substantiate it.
JR: YEP, You got it... Dr. Pan
JR: CA is the testing ground to bring this BS across the nation. It seems.
Craig: Rallies for SoJ are not effective outreach. Its like holding a party for cheerleaders.
RallySally: What would be more effective do you think, Craig?
Da_Mouse: "So goes california, so goes the nation"
JR: I saw our local Jefferson guys on the Placerville Octoberfest street fair last night.
Da_Mouse: Oh yeah! Just getting out in the community engagements would be way more effective
JR: That seemed very effective, they had people walking up asking them about Jefferson with the clipboards.
jimmy: What irk's me is when people say "Oh , SOJ would go broke." Wel the the freakin' heck happens to California time and time again. Then "VOILA" they raise taxes and sit there in all the glory like they did us a favor
Mike&Patty: you've said it before, but the people's money in STIRS and PERS is not guaranteed to be there when we need it, what about the elderly people's retirement?
Da_Mouse: Social security?
Mike&Patty: No guarantees it will be there, they should know that the governments actions could jeopardize it. yes SS
Craig: The movement has to hit people where they live and work--- because people are not going to go out of their way to be political when they have better things to do- like work and play.
Mike&Patty: some mom and pops are extremely busy with their kids sport activities and won't do anything else, even though they do support us
Craig: But where do you get new people M+P?
Mike&Patty: I had a mom gather petition signatures at a practice, but outside of that it wouldn't have happened
Craig: tea party and rallies are an echo chamber
JR: I dont think that the SS hangs on the states choice. isnt that a thing where the feds will say if its being paid? I must say as a Health Insurance Agent they are not paying agents for MediCaL signups.. Interesting eh , CA has no money to pay its health agents. lol and their worried about us going br
Mike&Patty: Craig, just gotta keep talking to people in our everyday lives
Da_Mouse: True that
Craig: Agreed. M+P.
Craig: Or go door to door like the JW's. ;-)
jimmy: .
Mike&Patty: I work for the schools and have had experience with the state paying the schools to recruit MORE Medical people. lots of money from the state I do believe
Mike&Patty: Medi-Cal not medical
RallySally: Like Hilary?
JR: Events such like last night was free and these guys here walked around with Jefferson shirts and clipboards. , Mike Patty , understood Im just not woken up yet and or did I ever win a spelling bee. I was raised and went to public CA schools
jimmy: how old are you red?
JR: Hilary for prison!
Da_Mouse: He's 37 I think
Craig: Hard to be real excited about the republicans being interested in pulling their county into SoJ.
RallySally: We got an inquiry from the State of New Mexico last week wanting to what and how to get something started in their state.
Mike&Patty: Republicans are a problem period, some are the Dems
Da_Mouse: I hear ya
Mike&Patty: so are the Dems
Craig: Cal GOP are a joke.
JR: hmmm that sounds like a conspiracy huh. lol this is a truly turning into a dictatorship.
SYSTEM: Please welcome Lyndia who just joined the chat.
JR: agreed and much love Jefferson Peeps Mouse and Red.
Lyndia: Good Morning
