Afternoon all
SYSTEM:
Please welcome Erin who just joined the chat.
eddie515:
We are on time!!!
Erin:
Wow! Starting on time!
SYSTEM:
Please welcome jclark who just joined the chat.
eddie515:
Welcome jclark
jclark:
Thank you Elaine for sharing the distressing situation facing agriculture here in Montana.
SYSTEM:
Please welcome ele who just joined the chat.
jclark:
Why does our government believe that it citizens rights are diminished due to residing on a reservation. There has been no opportunity to adjudicate water rights associated with fee-land purchase.
ele:
Funny TVFMontana wasn't accepted.
ele:
Why does the Fed govt think it can regulate and rule every aspect of our lives?th
jclark:
Because the average citizen through distraction has allowed it. The people do not realize the significant power that the Constitution details for them.
eddie515:
Because We The People let them! People need to get involved and elect people that don't vote for this crap!
eddie515:
The EPA is the Devil.
jclark:
www.nativeamericanwaters.com shows that the CSKT tribe and others like minded are not taking private property for fish as advertised, but for greed. A billion dollar water bottling plant utilizing farmers water that was bought and paid for years ago.
ele:
The question was rhetorical question/answer to jclark
jclark:
I wish that I could make my community care about something as invasive...unfortunately, until
jclark:
it is at their backdoor directly effecting them, they do not get active.
eddie515:
Lets get the word out and get the next administration to get rid of or at least limit the authority of the EPA
jclark:
Agreed.
eddie515:
Sorry , that is human nature, "I don't care until it effects me"
jclark:
In-stream flows has been used as an excuse for the government to come onto our lands and steal from the fee-land owners.
eddie515:
By than it's too late
ele:
I guess all thoses who continue, robotically to "pay their fair share" also allow them
jclark:
The Federal Gov. sold the same product to both the tribal members and the homesteaders. Now, years later, once again the Federal Gov. refuses responsibility and instead forces it upon the hard working farmers and ranchers.
ele:
Look what the EPA is in the process of doing to the Johnsons in Basin MT.
jclark:
Agreed. I was reading about that this morning.
ele:
Basis has around 200 poulation. Two of whom are a big threat to MT air and water!!!
jclark:
Obama has focused the nation on the minority and utilizes the EPA as well as other agencies to further agenda that I am sure we are no even aware of yet.
ele:
Bush Jr, Clinton, Bush Sr all no different!
eddie515:
Maybe Trump will have the guts to make some serious cuts?
jclark:
The CSKT Compact that Elaine is now helping to defeat will set precedent for not only our State but our entire Country.
jclark:
I am hopeful that Trump will bring an end to empowering those with their hand out.
eddie515:
I think Clinton would find a way to become NAtive American so she could capitalize on some Indian income!
ele:
She can't do it alone. With just a bunch of cheer leaders
ele:
"She" being Elaine.
jclark:
Our local tribal government that is Federal funded has failed it yearly audit for nearly ten years. That failure has never diminished the amount of tax payers money that is funneled into their accounts.
eddie515:
Maybe she could get Elizabeth Warren to show her the ropes
ele:
eddie515 LOL
jclark:
Elaine is NOT alone. There are many standing on the front lines right along side her......
jclark:
and have been for some time.
Erin:
and now we'll all be a lot smarter ;-)
jclark:
Most of our elected force is compromised though. There is not a lot of help available to the little guys on the ground.
ele:
At which rallies? So huge as to hit the media?
Erin:
I think this book would be a good gift for elected folks
jclark:
(wink) agreed.
Erin:
I'm buying two copies!
eddie515:
Warren drives a Cherokee, does that qualify her?
jclark:
i am hopeful that this electoral session will bring change to our State.
ele:
Is Elaine working with The Western Montana Water Rights group?
eddie515:
That must be where she got confused
Erin:
not sure but will ask
jclark:
No, they are a separate entity.
Erin:
are they on the same page?
jclark:
Yes,
Erin:
I know how some of these water rights groups can be singing from different sheets of music
jclark:
But the people are broken, tired. defeated.....
jclark:
both financially and emotionally
Erin:
the Klamath Water Users pretend to speak for the irrigators (some 1,200 farmers) but they do not. They do, however, have a lot of money and the press fluffs their pillows. UGH
jclark:
Ask Elaine about the F.A.R.M. group.
ele:
jclark that was another rhetorical question almost seems they work against each other Same issue but different approach method. United we stand devided we...comes to mind.
ele:
Elaine was thinking FARM, the question was the Western Montana Water Rights group. Please clarify
jclark:
I do not believe that Western Montana Water Users are active anymore.
jclark:
They ran out of money.
jclark:
There is the land and water alliance that is still working to educate elected officials and public.
Erin:
nationally or in MT?
eddie515:
That is always the case! The good guys run out of money and than can't be as vocal as the fake water users and enviros!
ele:
jclark Reread I said Western Montana Water RIGHTS
jclark:
Our focus has been in Montana right now. Congressman Zinke, Sen. Daines and Sen Testor are in Washington D.C.
Erin:
I heard Zinke is on the wrong page
jclark:
I am not aware of that group. My apologies.
jclark:
In Zinke's primary he has lost support of the tribe.
ele:
https://westernmtwaterrights.wordpress.com/
Erin:
really? I thought he was doing whatever they want
jclark:
I think that entity might be related the land and water alliance. They have done a lot of really good things.
ele:
Dr. Katherine Vandemoer who has a show here is associated with https://westernmtwaterrights.wordpress.com/
jclark:
Jenaeu (unsure of spelling) is tribal and therefor has gained the grace of the tribe in the upcoming election.
jclark:
Yes, Katherine
jclark:
her and Terry have worked hard in behalf of the land owners and State.
jclark:
They have done a great deal of research.
ele:
So Western Montana Water Rights is alive and well. Again my question to Elaine
Erin:
Dr. Kate is the enemy
eddie515:
Terry who?
Erin:
are you saying she is "helping"?
jclark:
Terry Backs works with Kate.
SYSTEM:
Please welcome Jan.MT who just joined the chat.
Jan.MT:
Erin, you are so wrong on Kate!!!
jclark:
I have heard rumor that Dr. Kate is a plant but have never seen anyone offer supporting documentation to that effect.
ele:
"Dr Kate is the enemy" See what I mean?
jclark:
She has been a great supporter of the Flathead Joint Board of Control over the last few years.
Erin:
Read our website for sure! We have an entire tab www.wethepeopleradio.us Look up at the navigation bar. It says "Dr. Kate"
ele:
Now you know why the EPA, CSKT and the Feds usually win out. No unity on common ground!
jclark:
Here, it is Farmer against Farmer here on the ground. Every issue turns out to be centered around the CSKT Compact.
Erin:
We have the EXACT same issue.
Erin:
Farmers who are receiving lots of government money side with these operatives against the other farmers
jclark:
Someone is getting something to throw my family and my neighbors under the bus.
ele:
Too bad it's so late I'd call. Being a friend of both Elaine, Terry and Dr Kate as well as members and supporters of all three!. a
Erin:
just figure out what that is and make it public if you can
jclark:
Elaine changed her whole life and that of her family to come to our area and assist in this battle.
Erin:
She is amazing and THE expert on this stuff no matter what she says
jclark:
These Ranchers and Farmers need as much help as we can get. All levels of government are trying to get rid of the Flathead Joint Board of Control.
ele:
The agent provacatues are at it again. Having a field day to divide the soldiers against the real enemy!
Jan.MT:
Right Ele
jclark:
They just want to protect their future, we respect the laws that made our nation great.
jclark:
We believe that the laws are here to protect us, not be used against us or ignored.
jclark:
divide and conquer is the name of the game ele.
eddie515:
Honest hard working americans that have few needs of the federal government and just want to be left alone.
ele:
Bingo jclark and guess who will win the war while the fighters bicker and attach each other? MT
ele:
that's attack Spend more time and energy attacking each other rather than the true enemy.
SYSTEM:
Jan.MT just signed off.
jclark:
Not intentionally.
jclark:
Frustration is difficult. It is hard to constantly be on the defense. When you don't have the ability to think like the enemy ......
jclark:
Thank you for letting Elaine spread our message.
eddie515:
They always play the long game and we have to remember to just keep swinging back and never give up!
jclark:
We are getting hit by the County officials right now, the State and the Federal Government.
ele:
Keep your friends close and your enemies closer. Here in MT I know who the enemy is and it's not Western MT Water Rigts or all the peole behind it.s
jclark:
It is a difficult fight that only the attorneys are befitting from.
eddie515:
Like Elaine said earlier, they have been working in the background for years
jclark:
If we lose the FJBC, the irrigators voice is gone in this fight.
eddie515:
It's death by a thousand cuts
jclark:
Hopefully I will win my race for HD 93 and participate in protected my neighbors. We truly need Judge Manley to rule on the 2/3 majority issue in the passing of the Compact.
ele:
Fighting the CSKT Water Compact long B4 I ever knew who Elaine was.
jclark:
My predecessor did this community no favors.
eddie515:
Any idea on where he will vote?
jclark:
I have heard that he is close. It is expected that the State will appeal. I am hopeful that he is making his findings firm, knowing the fight ahead.
jclark:
The CSKT stated that the Compact was required by the Federal Gov. do it or lose it. Now they have utilized the Compact as a tool to remove fee-land owners from the reservation.
ele:
jclark I'll have to see your background, do more research
jclark:
regarding?
jclark:
I am the executive manager for the Flathead Joint Board of Control.
jclark:
I am a veteran of the armed forces and a rancher.... the future of my family lies in this fight as well. What else do you want to know. (wink)
eddie515:
Do you work with Elaine?
jclark:
We are friends. We work together to benefit all.
eddie515:
Or do you not agree with her work?
Erin:
Is Flathead Joint Board the one she said they are trying to destroy?
jclark:
She has significant knowledge and her support is priceless.
ele:
Thanks for your input. I'll still do my own research. At any rate Thank you for steping up to the plate and running.
jclark:
Yes. It is the municipal government standing in between the Compact, The tribe, The State and the people.
Erin:
How many on your board?
ele:
(wink)
jclark:
There are twelve commissioners on the board,
jclark:
and one member at large.
Erin:
You are probably under the same kind of pressure as the KID Klamath Irrigation District board. There are 5 of them. 3 good guys. HUGE pressure
jclark:
It has been difficult. That is an understatement.
eddie515:
We need people who are genuinely efected by these regs. to be in a position of power
jclark:
We are very grateful for Elaine's assistance in getting our fight out to the rest of the world. It has not been easy for her either.
eddie515:
The out of town, "Stakeholders", need to go away
Erin:
If you stand up it's a lonely place unfortunately
eddie515:
Amen!
jclark:
Very true.
eddie515:
A true leader will get the people to follow. Right is right and wrong is wrong!
jclark:
Lies are easier to believe to the common citizen than the truth.
jclark:
The truth requires them to get active.
Erin:
And sometimes it requires you to be unpopular
jclark:
they are threatened.
eddie515:
It's easy to look the other way when it isn't your fight
jclark:
loss of lease ground.
Erin:
that is sometimes the hardest part for the rural folks
ele:
BTW the Flathead Joint Board Irregation elections was a joke! All the election MCA was changed or clarified for more conformity and consistensy 2016 for 2016.
jclark:
agreed. the Lake County Attorney is in the pocket of S. Lake.
jclark:
They are working together to eliminate the FJBC.
jclark:
Laws have been broken but they want the board to go along to get along. No more lawsuits. An Oath of Office is a serious promise.
ele:
Instead there are more challenges not just in Flathead, Lake . Butte Silver Bow, Granite County etc etcu More challengers aren
Erin:
you are right about the oath
Erin:
kudos to those who take it seriously
jclark:
Agreed. I wish that there was more that recognized that.
Erin:
the republic will be saved by those few. Don't give up!
eddie515:
Once you put the large producers out of business, they don't come back. Welcome to South American produce!
jclark:
We need to put the pressure on the State, County etc.... We are watching and when laws are violated, we are watching.
jclark:
and we are holding you accountable.
Erin:
GOOD!
SYSTEM:
Please welcome RxTer who just joined the chat.
ele:
Yep Erin, And Christmas is coming. So jclark. If the SOS won't touch your accusations of codes violation, what's next? Maybe you should get an AG opinion
RxTer:
great program today
eddie515:
The 3 letter agencies don't get to inturpret the laws, they only get to enforce them. And they should not have the ability to levy fees to sidestep congress
Erin:
Full of information to be sure!
jclark:
We have tried. The SOS and the AG is ignoring the complaints of the FJBC>
jclark:
It will take a lawsuit unfortunately.
Erin:
enter Larry Kogan!
jclark:
They have relinquished all responsibility to the County Attorney. I believe it is due to the lawsuit currently filed against the State of Montana
ele:
You have not one county commissioner on your side?
eddie515:
A new anministration needs to prosicute the offending agencies
SYSTEM:
Please welcome RxTer who just joined the chat.
jclark:
We have no more money available. It is strategic. Maybe Gale Decker. He has started turing a new leaf after the tribe broke their contract regarding the Dam revenue.
jclark:
This election is going to be imperative to our area.
RxTer:
Changed browsers.... crome works better for chatting
eddie515:
If there is never any consiquence to breaking the law, they will continue to do it
jclark:
Agreed.
RxTer:
Lawyers get paid to break the law
jclark:
We will see what comes to be this week when the board continues to not recognize the illegal election.
eddie515:
Someone needs to put the fear of god into these agencies
ele:
"If you want justice, go to a whore house. If you want to get screwed go to court"
jclark:
The PEOPLE need to put the fear into the County.
eddie515:
Our AG is a joke, whatever O wants he gets
jclark:
Over 16,000 acres were not allowed to vote.
jclark:
Tim Fox, that is another story.
RxTer:
Tell them that Trump will deal with them. He has no strings attached to his arms.
ele:
As long as you feed the monster it will continue to graw!
Erin:
You guys have one congressman right?
jclark:
yes. Zinc.
jclark:
Zinke.
Erin:
First term?
ele:
Zinke? LMAO!
jclark:
Yes
Erin:
Supposed to be conservative but isn't?
jclark:
He is a politician.
ele:
Don't you take calls to the show?
Erin:
We do but people like to learn things so they usually just listen
jclark:
Elaine is doing well. She usually does.
eddie515:
If you ask us online we will ask onair
RxTer:
My biggest interest in Trump is whether he will demote himself to flying in AF 1. Have you seen his corporate jet?
Erin:
She has SO much information and she's such a nice lady
jclark:
can not say that I have seen his jet
eddie515:
I think other countries are terrified of him
Erin:
and for good reason ;-)
eddie515:
If he does what he says he'll do
RxTer:
Good
jclark:
BINGO Elaine. We need Obama out!
ele:
No wonder there aren't any calls. However, as you pointed out there is a debate on "chat".
RxTer:
We need to be respected
jclark:
LOL - I didn't think I was debating... only adding to the informational flow.
Erin:
That's what is fun about it. The folks on the east coast listen to a recording and can't call in so we don't give out the phone number because the show is taped for them.
ele:
for thoes on chat. To be talk radio is two ways. Outgoing and incoming. I'll listen to the podd cast thught you said "debate"d
jclark:
There is so much to this issue. So many angles. It would be hard to fit them all into one hour.
RxTer:
If the tribes get what they are asking for they will be back in their TPs with a dirt bike parked outside
jclark:
Agreed.
jclark:
If a member of this tribe resides outside the reservation, they receive no benefits from their tribal government
RxTer:
I have dealt with natives in Canada. They are vulnorable to drugs. I once did a portrait of several children in one family that snorted PAM and died .
Erin:
Our goal is to educate the rural as well as the city people. Their representatives need to be educated by city consitutents too. We have a good following across the country because they listen online to our archives. Wednesday is a big listening day. Odd.
jclark:
The tribe, due to lowering enrollment, are changing the amount of blood required to be recognized.
Erin:
not around here. it's very corrupt
jclark:
I saw that article online that she is discussing.
RxTer:
Natives are easily duped. That's why we got Manhatten at such a great price
ele:
That's what is fun about it. The folks on the east coast listen to a recording and can't call in so we don't give out the phone number because the show is taped for them. " Are you kidding me??? I had an on line talk radio show and the east cost just tuned in two hours later. Live 8pm MST live EST 1
jclark:
Federal Gov. owned in trust for the Tribal Gov. That is a pretty big statement
RxTer:
Tribe members will clump together several families in one house. Of course there are the exceptions. But in general they have real social problems.
RxTer:
Tribes are suceptable to communism
Erin:
I guess that works too ele. If people are on while we air the number is right on the chat page so they could certainly call in and sometimes they do.
RxTer:
I sound like a racist, but I have had conversations with concerned tribla members that fear their heritage.
ele:
"cont" 10PM EST I'm still listening to your show that ended at 2PM (PST) but it's 2:25 MST and 4:45 EST.
jclark:
Its not racist, it is fact. Drug and alcohol are a real issue here.
eddie515:
I'm confused
ele:
What if they are NOT on the chat?
Erin:
;-) We have a big following in Ukraine and Brazil. Go figure
ele:
Pod cast>
RxTer:
Did you know that the raindeer come from the ukrane. T
jclark:
the richest tribe in the Country and the members are the lowest in poverty levels. along with that issue comes drugs and alcohol.
eddie515:
You can have anything between the qupee doll and the pencils, but not the shot glass
Erin:
or the eraser
RxTer:
There are similar people that live there that are much like our natives. They even have similar words in their culture... so interesting
Erin:
hey, are you the weight guesser from The Jerk?
eddie515:
Yep!
jclark:
Congratulation Elaine! Great news!
jclark:
Looks like I know what to ask for, for Christmas!
RxTer:
I have a bridge to sell these natives
SYSTEM:
Please welcome sflow who just joined the chat.
RxTer:
Oh boy sflow
Erin:
S! How the heck are you?
sflow:
¿ello o-tay ;-0
ele:
The CSKT water compact is not the Montana Water Compact as FARM is spreading in their full page ads in MT newspapers. Yet the only letters to the ED critizing these ads are from The Western MT Water rights supporters. Why?s
jclark:
False Advertising.
RxTer:
The natives should create their own Disneyland.... I can se that being a great developement
sflow:
rx i will buy it lol!!!!
RxTer:
Come see Custer's last stand
ele:
jclard you didn't answe "WHY?"
Erin:
been there ;-)
sflow:
how about trail of tears land rxter lol !!!!!!!!!!!
RxTer:
They could call their amusement park WildWest Land
jclark:
No offense ele, but have you been listening? People are scared, tired, feeling defeated. They have fought, wrote letters.... and have seen no gain. Try to understand.
ele:
Why they are critizing the ads?
RxTer:
Do tribes elect their board members?
jclark:
They are a community of farmers, not soldiers. There is a significant amount of hate in this community.
jclark:
Yes, tribal members elect.
RxTer:
interesting
sflow:
i already voted this year ;-)
ele:
So jclark that justifies one side to attack the other who is also fighting FARM and the CSKT Compact?vgives the right to
sflow:
for my tribe
RxTer:
As a portrait artist I love doing their portraits.. full of character
eddie515:
The ribes out here with casinos are always fighting over power
jclark:
Our situation is verging on violence. Who are you referring to?
eddie515:
Tribes
jclark:
I am not fighting anyone but various forms of government.
RxTer:
Great show today.. recording going well
sflow:
ed are you thinking abot bbqing hehe lol !!!!
eddie515:
Lake Co. casino in Calif. Got their doors locked because of violence
RxTer:
Talk to you all later... good day my friends'
